“If you only pray when you’re in trouble, you’re will always be in trouble.” While there’s some very real truth to that statement, praying as soon as you’re aware that something’s wrong / there’s a problem to acknowledge & address is a very, very good thing to do :-) …

This Red Sea Rule #4 is short, simple & of utmost significance. It reminds us that so much of life is beyond our control, but that nothing is beyond God’s control.

When the squeeze is on, may it always cause us to look up & cry out to God.

The Importance of Prayer Can’t Be Overstated Because of …

1. its constant necessity.

Prayer is essential & effective. We are told & called to “pray without ceasing.”

Exodus 14:10 / 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (don’t neglect vs 16 & 18!!!)

2. the power God’s answers unleash.

There’s no telling what God can & will do as He answers every prayer perfectly.

Making It Real

1] How is this being demonstrated in your life these days?

2] In what ways have you seen this take place in response to your prayers?

Action Step

Use this as a beginning to your written prayer to God in response to

today’s message: “Father in Heaven, in light of the reminder to elevate the

place of prayer in my life, I look to You for the grace to _________” …
