The “Greats” of God

List the 15 on the crafts list
All point to Him
Hard to put them in any order of importance, they are ALL HIM
The most challenging, to me?
ALL-KNOWING - Omniscient
He knows everything
Hairs on head, stars in sky, blades of grass in the world
Who really shot Kennedy...
EVERYTHING
He knows YOU, and ME, completely
Sins, open and the “secret “ones...
Inside and out
Luke 16:15 NASB95
And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.
Mark 7:21 NASB95
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,
HE KNOWS IT ALL
The most amazing “great” of God
GOD IS FORGIVING
Romans 5:8 - ‘while we were yet sinners...”
You repent, turn direction, ask forgiveness, HE SAYS YES!
He Created mankind, His crowning glory
That crowning achievement rebelled, sinned
And God did the most amazing thing
HE REDEEMED them! (See Gen 3:15)
Jesus knows you and me
So He came to earth - once
He forgave, still forgives
He saves, completely, eternally
He’s coming back - YES HE IS
He created us, and we fell, and He redeemed!
Lots of people today - feel like people have given up on them, they can’t measure up, what’s the use...
God never gives up, patiently waiting for others to come to that saving knowledge of Him
We had one this week! Hell was robbed of a soul this week! (Amanda, feels awesome, right?)
God offers freedom from the eternal penalty of sin, and He honors repentance and He forgives
God is just
He will honor the decision to reject Him
He will honor the decision to accept Him
Psalm 145:1 NASB95
I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
When did you decide to call God, Jesus, your Savior?
Realize your sin, and also God’s forgiveness
Then…live your life like the psalmist
Extol Him - praise Him enthusiastically
Bless Him - call Him holy
Praise Him - complete admiration
Our worship of God, our living for Him, is not in secret, not to be hidden
But to be on display, for the world to see and then desire to know Him
God so loved the WORLD....
Yet, He will judge that world, based on each person’s rejection or acceptance - THAT IS TRUTH
God so loved the WORLD
That means YOU
How will you live your life in response to that love?
