Welcome to the Occupy Fast

Corporate Fast for the rest of the year - The Command of Jesus - Occupy till He comes

· THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM – AND HOW WE OCCUPY IS CONNECTED …A PART OF OUR OCCUPATION IS WHAT WE DO WITH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

· HE WANT TO FIND US AT THE FULLNESS OF OUR OCCUPATION

I sense that as a church we need a shot/injection of spiritual power and clarity for our assignment - and nothing releases power like seasons of consecration

The New King James Version Chapter 58

6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:

To loose the bonds of wickedness,

To undo the heavy burdens,

To let the oppressed go free,

And that you break every yoke?

Band of wicked, limitations, constrictions, assignments of delay get broken, burdens that weigh down and are heavy are released with the Fast that the Lord Calls!

When Jesus fasts at the beginning of His ministry

The New King James Version Chapter 4

14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.

Power was realesed by the consecraton process - POWER is released by your consecration process!

As I was seeking the Lord concerning this fast - I was brought to this Scripture

The Lords prayer in - John 17.

The New King James Version (Chapter 17)

17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

There was a phrase that stood out to that Jesus said “For their sakes I sanctify myself”

for their sake i consecrate myself, i set my self apart, I journey into holiness

Can I say that this fast is not just about you…its not just about us!

WHO AND WHAT IS WAITING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR CONSECRATION?!

Not only is this fast for our sake - its for their sake!

So lets have that in MIND - as we pray today

WE are parying that God helps is in our sanctification process! He sustains us

Things that have been limiting us and holding us back - characteristics - attitudes - we will receive supernatural liberty as the flesh is denied and the spirit man is fed!
