“Good morning, my name is Troy Stanley, and I’m the
Lead Pastor here at FCCCB.
I’d like to welcome all of our guests here today!
And I’d like to say hello to everyone watching this online.
(Slide #3) I want to start today by saying that anything worth doing for God is worth doing well
(Slide #5) Colossians 3:23-24
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Have you ever done anything not to the best of your abilities or cut corners to achieve a faster result?
How did it work out?
There I fixed it story (Slide #6,7,8,9,10)

Explanation
Let me introduce to the wisest man that ever lived
Solomon (Person). Third king over Israel, the second son of David and Bathsheba, who reigned some 40 years (970–930 bc). His alternative name was Jedidiah, “beloved of the Lord.”
(Slide #12) Why is Solomon the wisest that ever lived? He asked God for wisdom.
5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”
6 Solomon answered, “You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.
7 “Now, Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties. 8 Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. 9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. 11 So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, 12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings. 14 And if you walk in obedience to me and keep my decrees and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life.” 15 Then Solomon awoke—and he realized it had been a dream.
Solomon the wisest that ever lived gave us the proverbs

How to find proverbs in the Bible
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
11 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man.
Proverbs 16:3
3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.
Proverbs 27:17
17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.
Proverbs 29.18
18 Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.
Lemuel. King credited with writing Proverbs 31:1–9. In these verses he sets forth teachings given him by his mother on good government, sex, and wine. Although he has been identified with Solomon, most modern interpreters reject this identification.
Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character
10 A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
