Encouragement

The Apostle Paul letter of encouragement
To Timothy
There will always be a need for encouragement in our lives, because we are living in a time of chaos. We come across so many daily obstacles seen and unseen in an ever changing world that it seems like it is drifting away from God. That is why God has appointed us with pastors and preachers and teachers who are led by the Holy Spirit to help us, teach us, and to educate us with godly doctrine, and revelation in this spiritual journey that we are in.
That leads me to my main verse:
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word( to remind us) to; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
My three points are: Reprove to Console, Rebuke to Comfort, and to Exhort to Encourage
Point 1 Reprove to Console
Reprove means to:
Warn us when we going out of control, Criticize us when we are out of control, Reprimand us when we are out of control, and then Correct us when we are out of control. These things must be done they are our checks and balances in ministry. It must hurt us, check in order to change us, balance. True change comes with a true price, we have heard that old saying no pain, no gain, The Apostle Paul wrote this letter for Timothy then and us now. We must stay encourage through the reprove.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Before God can use you He must REPROVE YOU, teach us, and break us, to organize us, to manage us.) Proverbs 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN AND READY FOR SERVICE AND READY FOR CHANGE.
2 Samuel 7:14 I will correct him with the rod of men.
Preachers and Pastors we are to console God’s people by giving them the word of God in every season that we can for it will give hope to the hopeless, power to the weak, and guide the lost for its our encouragement, our joy from God and salvation to others who believe.
Point 2 Rebuke to Comfort
Rebuke means to:
To be discipline, to chasten, a judgment, an order against you, the bible tells in
Ecclesiastes 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. (HE CORRECTS)
Rev. 3:19 Those I love, I rebuke and discipline
So be encourage WHEN YOU ARE GOING THROUGH, Remember God is our comfort and strength, He will make everything alright no matter what we are going through He can rebuke any situation so whatever you are going through don’t forget the Lord almighty has you and whom the Lord hold in the his hand no one able to take out. Sickness must go, disappointment must go, heartache must go, confusion must go No matter what it is God has the finale say.
This is why Paul wrote this for all believers in Christ Jesus. Be excited, be thrilled,be eager in God and watch and see what He will do, that is our comfort.
Point 3 Exhort to Encourage
Paul wrote that we must always console, the people, comfort the people, and exhort the people for Christ. For He is the Lord of Lord ,and the KING OF KING, THE BEGINNING AND THE END. THE GREATEST MAN OF ALL TIME.
HE had no servants, and yet they called Him Master, Master can you use me? He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher, TEACHER can you teach me? HE had no operating room yet He never lost a patient, Jesus can you heal me? HEBREWS 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. PSALM 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: He is our help and our shield That is why I am encourage: PSALM 46:1
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. Preach the word, Teach the word, its our hope, its our strength, know your word its your shield! No weapon that is forum against you shall prosper God can, and God will bring you out.
