Hear the Heaven and Proclaim in the earth
Hear the Heaven and Proclaim in the earth
18 I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this truth of who I am will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church—my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it! 19 I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.”
Hear and understand the will of God and proclaim in the earth.
13 When Jesus came to Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples this question: “What are the people saying about me, the Son of Man? Who do they believe I am?” 14 They answered, “Some are convinced you are John the Baptizer, others say you are Elijah reincarnated, or Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” 15 “But you—who do you say that I am?” Jesus asked. 16 Simon Peter spoke up and said, “You are the Anointed One, the Son of the living God!” 17 Jesus replied, “You are favored and privileged Simeon, son of Jonah! For you didn’t discover this on your own, but my Father in heaven has supernaturally revealed it to you.
Gates of hell - Power of Death (metonymy)
“Al the forces of hell will never have the power to win a victory over it”. There is no power of darkness that can stop the advancing church that Jesus builds
24 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
Let’s look at the meanings. The English word church comes from the Middle English chirche from the Old English cirice, both of which mean a religious building or religious place or “the Lord’s house.”
However, the Greek word ekklesia, now lost to most English Bibles, has a completely different meaning than the word church. Ekklesia literally means “the called out ones.” It also was the proper name of the governing bodies of independent Greek city-states. These bodies (Ekklesias) were open, participatory, interactive assemblies that gathered to conduct city business.
Taking both meanings into consideration, the New Testament definition of ekklesia would be “an open, participatory, interactive assembly of people called out of self-focus and into the pursuit of God’s business”. Since there Is that how you think of church? On a typical Sunday morning, do you go to church intending to convene a parliament of prayer with other believers, legislating spiritual authority over your community and region, breaking demonic powers, releasing the covenant blessing of the Cross
The Greek Word for “Church” is ekklesia and means “legislative assembly” or “selected ones”. This is not a religious term at all, but a political and governmental term that is used many times in classical Greek for a group of people who have been summoned and gathered together to govern the affairs of a city. For Jesus to use this term means he is giving the keys of governmental authority in his Kingdom to the Church.

Our Ministry - is a tribunal
Tribunal: As we know it’s a military term. We are the army of God, called to release judgments on the devil’s agenda against America ( Matthew 16:18,19; Psalm 2:8,9 & Revelations 2:26,27). This is the original intent of the ‘ekklesia’ (Church/Congregation).
Regional, Global - Very Apostolic
Ephesians 6 - all Plural
The most complete and authoritative picture of the Church as the body of Christ is given in Ephesians- Paul spoke consistently of Christians in the plural, he had virtually nothing to say about individual Christians.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
8 Like a bird that wanders from its nest Is a man who wanders from his place.
Nothing is more pitiful than that
This image aptly illustrates what is to be out of your place
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
You will be frustrated and unfulfilled until you find and fulfill your calling
Hear the heaven and Proclaim in the earth
hear what God says and proclaim.
In the Spirit of prayer, we are taken right away from earth into heaven. In the Spirit, the Word of God seems to unfold in a wonderful way.
