Consciousness of our absolute reality in Christ Jesus

What is that you are mostly aware off?
Because what you are mostly conscious or aware of will determine the quality of your life.
John 10:10 NCV
A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life—life in all its fullness.
But many do not experience fullness God intended instead go through negativity and are more sin conscious because their awareness or what they focus on.
What you focus on you empower and that will determine whether you are joyful enjoy life or you are fearful & depressed.
Especially these days what we hear and see around us are not really inspiring or boosting our faith. Even preaching that we sometimes we hear is on judgement and sin consciousness.
“No one is more influential in your life than you are because no one talks to you more than you do. It’s a fact that you and I are in an endless conversation with ourselves. Most of us have learned that it’s best not to move our lips because people will think we’re crazy, but we never stop talking to ourselves.
In this inner discussion, we’re always talking about God, life, others, and ourselves, and the things we say to ourselves are very important because they are formative of the things we desire, choose, say, and do. What have you been saying to you? What have you been saying to you about yourself? What have you been saying to you about God? What have you been saying to you about life, meaning and purpose, right and wrong, true and false, and good and bad?”
But we have to become daily more God and Jesus’ righteousness conscious so we’ll have peace
WE HAVE TO KEEP SIMPLE WHEN IT COMES TO THE GOSPEL AND TAKE IT PERSONAL
TAKE IT PERSONAL - ALL THAT YOU HAVE BECOME IN CHRIST.
Your subconscious mind rules your life.
95-97% of everything you and me do is done as the result of your subconscious mind. When you subconscious mind is programmed it goes ahead and response to whatever you conscious mind has placed into it.
So whatever your dominant thought about about God , about salvation, about promise of God, about you identity will determine the quality of your life.
Remember even when God corrects or rebukes us you don’t hear judgement you hear the love of the Father.
But if you are not righteousness conscious you’ll hear judgement in His correction.
So if you are sin conscious you’ll hear Judgement but if you are righteousness conscious you will hear love.
When God is correcting you and what you hear determines what you are most aware off”
“Sin & Righteousness”
1 Corinthians 15:45 NASB95
So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Here we see the first Adam and the second Adam
First man and the second man
Most people are aware of the first Adam and the fall of the first Adam.
Because of the awareness of the first Adam and his fall, his sin mostly peoples lives are sin conscious, full of fear, frustration, and worry.
But we read there is a second Adam. He is called the quickening Spirit, the heavenly man.
So there is a earthly man and there is a heavenly man but most people are focused on the first Adam and earthly reality which is temporal.
We give too much credit do what first Adam did and minimise what second Adam finished.
2 Corinthians 4:18 NASB95
while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
what we see is temporal but then there is another reality that we cannot see with our physical eyes that is eternal reality.
So two realities are
Earthly which is temporal
Heavenly which is eternal.
Which reality you are more conscious off.
Is your awareness of what you see greater than your awareness of unseen.
In another way to ask this question is:
are more still thinking or more aware of being just out of first Adam
Or are you more aware being in Christ
You are me are no longer part of the earthly first Adam, irrespective of how you are feeling and what you are going through, we are part of the heavenly Spiritual man Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is our reality right now.
Most people and including even preachers the fall of Adam is so big that they fail to consider Christ is eternal Son of God.
Too much credit is given to the fall of Adam then the finished work of Christ.
That’s why you hear people says, yes you and me are saved but....... XYZ need to be done
We cannot even compare Christ to the first Adam but for our finite mind to understand lets make the comparison
Romans 5:6–11 NKJV
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
There are two realities :
What was and What is
We were without strength, or weak or helpless
we were sinners
We were enemies of God
What is
Now we are loved
Now we have been justified
we reconciled and are righteousness of God in Christ Jesus
So there was temporal reality of What was and there is eternal reality of what is
We are part of the eternal righteous Son of God.
And He is same yesterday, today and forever.
Your and mine consciousness should be on “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”
No longer on what I was.
This is what I have experienced and seen personally for many years:
When people fail or when they sin or do something wrong most of them fear they have lost their relationship, lost their righteousness and now they was do things to get right with God.
so they now attend the church, start reading the bible, attend prayer meeting, give offering to become right with God.
No no no, you were a sinner.
Your eternal reality is now is that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Remember In Christ Jesus, because of his finished work.
Let me make this clear I am not saying you should not attend the church, start reading the bible, attend prayer meeting, give offering and do all those things, what I am saying is this should be done from place of sonship and knowing you are eternally accepted in the beloved, love is the driver not fear of rejection. This will free you from performance.
Doctrine of imputation.
Imputation simply is the theological word that means to credit to the account of, to charge to the account of. There are three imputations that are taught in the bible. To understand these three imputations you have to put your arms around a lot of theology. The first imputation is the imputation of Adam's sin to the entire human race. Such that when Adam sinned we all sinned in Adam. You may say “hey that's not fair I wasn't there and I did not do it.” Well you think more highly of yourself than you ought to because you would have made the same choice. You are not better than Adam. In fact, you would have probably folded your tent before you even got to the forbidden fruit. Adam acted on our behalf. It's just like in a football game one guy jumps offsides and the whole team is penalized. So one man can penalize the whole team. That is what happened with Adam. He stood as our federal representative, just like we have people in Canberra that vote for us.
What they vote affects us. We were not sitting up there, we did not cast the vote but nevertheless it affects us and that is just the reality. That is the way that it is. There are two other imputations and these are positive imputations and you do not want to ever say I do not want imputation because two are positive, only one is negative. We gain more in Christ than we lost in Adam. We come out ahead, far ahead.
The second imputation is the sins of all the people were imputed to Christ on the cross. Him who knew no sin God made to be sin for us. 1 Corinthians 5:21, "And he bore our sins in his body upon the tree." 1 Peter 2 and 1 Peter 3:18, the just for the unjust. All of the sins of all the people at once were transferred to Christ. Our sins credited to Him and He literally bore them in His body upon the cross.
The third imputation is the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ gained through his perfect obedience to the will of God is imputed to us when we believe upon Christ. Adam's sin imputed to the entire human race. The sins of all believers imputed to Christ. Christ's righteousness imputed to us. Those three imputations give the over view of really the transactions in salvation.
What does Romans 3:23 say
Romans 3:23 NASB95
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Remember there were are many people who do all the right thing but are not declared righteous because what we have is imputed sin.
Tim Keller explains the difference between these views in this way:
Religion says, “I obey – therefore I’m accepted.”  The Gospel says, “I’m accepted – therefore I obey.”
Our obedience to God is critically important. It flows out of our love and gratitude toward God for what he has done on our behalf through Christ.
Romans 8:1–17 NKJV
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
Carnal mind or mind governed by the flesh - mind that operated with what is seen, earthly, here and now.
When I am Spirit conscious I’ll live with my current reality in Christ.
Why is so important to grasp these truth and anchor in this reality?
Because how how victoriously you live is directly connected to how well you identify with Christ and His finished work.
Everything from the Kingdom of God is attracted to Christ in you.
gifts of the Spirit
fruit of the Spirit
power of God
leading of the Spirit of God
Greater your awareness of these truths greater the flow of kingdom realities and power in your life and through your life.
Remember God’s perspective He have given us everything, He is not with holding anything.
All his promises are yes and Amen
I would like to close with this verse
2 Peter 1:3–9 ESV
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.
