Wherefore, remember that ye once the nations in the flesh who are called uncircumcision by that called circumcision in the flesh made by hand.
that ye were at that time apart from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, hope not having, and without God in the world:
but now in Christ Jesus, ye who once were afar off near are becoming by the blood of the Christ.
For he himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the middle wall of the fence dividing us.He abolished the bitterness between us,
the enmity in his flesh the law of commandments in decrees having annulled, that the two he might create in himself in one new man, making peace; and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity by it;
and having come he announced the glad tidings…peace to you who were afar off and to those near.
For through him we have access both by one Spirit to the Father.
So then no longer are ye strangers and sojourners, but fellow citizens of the saints and of the household of God,
being built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, being the cornerstone himself Jesus Christ,
in whom all the building fitted together increases to a temple holy in the Lord
in whom also ye are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
