Teaching the children:

Good morning, I am glad to be here this morning and to worship with you all. this morning i would like talk about why it is important to teach the youth of today, why we as christian’s need to invest in our youth within our church, and why we need to recognized them as members of the God’s family too.
Deuteronomy 6:6–9 NKJV
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
From this passage here in Deuteronomy 6 we come to realize that this is the second book of the law that Moses wrote. this also during the time of the 40 years of waiting in the wilderness because of the Israelite people disobey God. this about the time were the next generation of Israelites were coming and need to understand the laws that their forefathers disobey. so what are some points that we can take out of this passage here?
the first thing that Moses tells the next generation is “you shall teach them diligently to your Children”.
when children are born they are consider innocent until a certain age they are able to understand right and wrong.
Children need guidance, and sometimes that guidance could lead them down the wrong path.
