WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE

The Physical versus the Spiritual

God uses the physical condition of the man as a oppurtonity to address his spiritual condition.

Our hope for forgiveness is motivated by our great need

Gods’ forgiveness originates from Him not us.

He chooses who to forgive and when

Jesus addresses the spiritual first them the physical.

Faith was observed before Jesus moved…it seemed to be a catalyst or a condition for Jesus to act........”when he saw their faith.......” He first:

(1) Hope is on display when Jesus

forgave the man’s sins....v 5

(2) Hope is on display when Jesus

addresses the crowds doubt.....v. 8.9

(3) Hope is on display when Jesus

He reveals His authority....v. 9.10

So That you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins
