Introduction

We as believers are called to walk in our new identity as children of God and live in community being led of the Holy Spirit.
We need our minds transformed to believe in the supernatural and we need a transformed mind on how to release the supernatural through the 9 gifts of the Spirit.
In actual fact Jesus expects us to walk like He did.
The Holy Spirit in us is committed to transforming us into the image of His son Jesus.
We called to reflect Christ on earth to all those around us.
1Jn 2:5  But whoever obeys what Christ says is the kind of person in whom God's love is perfected. That's how we know we are in Christ.
1Jn 2:6  Those who say that they live in him must live the same way he lived.
1Co 2:2  For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
1Co 2:3  And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling,
1Co 2:4  and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
1Co 2:5  so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
This evening we going to be very practical we going to look at the following.

1. Word of knowledge.
It is a supernatural impartation of information that is inaccessible by natural human means. The information can be about a person or situation, past or present.
2.Word of wisdom?
Supernatural impartation of divine wisdom to deal with a difficult situation. Future based.
3.Gift of discerning spirits?
Supernatural ability to differentiate between the four sources of spiritual operations: holy, human, evil or angelic.
4.Gift of tongues.
Supernatural utterance in a language unknown to the speaker.
5.Gift of the interpretation of tongues.
Supernatural ability to interpret a message given by the gift of tongues.
6.Gift of prophecy.
Divinely inspired utterance for edification, exhortation, comfort or prediction (1 Cor 14:3-). This means that prophecy builds up,and may speak about the future.
7.Gift of faith.
A supernatural release of faith that transcends the limitations of normal faith.
8.Gifts of healing.
Supernatural release of the power of God to bring healing into a sick body for the glory of Christ.
9. Working of power.
Supernatural ability to do something that defies the laws of nature.
These workings refer to the God given ability to demonstrate the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit at work. Each miracle is a working – a specific manifestation of the gift.
2.FIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BELIEVER TOWARDS THE GIFTS.
1.(1Co 12:1  )Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed.
Be informed.
2.(1Co 12:31 ) But earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.
Passionately desire the gifts of the Spirit.
3.( 2Ti 1:6 ) For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
Stir up the gifts.
4.(1Ti 4:14 ) Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.
Do not neglect, to be careless about the gifts, make light of them, to place little importance on them.
5.( 1Co 14:12 ) So with yourselves, since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, strive to excel in building up the church.
Excel in building up people.
God expects us to be involved in each others lives, building up people. With the gifts of the Holy Spirit to help us.
3.HOW DO I PRACTICE THEM DAILY.
Have faith.
We need to believe that God the Holy Spirit wants to train us in these gifts.
We need to believe that when we submit our mind to Jesus that the thoughts that come to us are His ( James 4:7)
We need to believe that when we ask in faith , and we ask according to His will we know He hears us ( 1 John 5:14-15)
We need to believe when we ask we receive ( Mark 11:23).
Practice daily with the Holy Spirit.
1Ti 4:7  Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness;
Have a pen and paper.
Write down 1,9 on a peace of paper and ask the Holy Spirit to give you thoughts, words and actions.
If you are unsure about what the Lord is showing you share it with your small group leader to help you.
4.WHO IS MY EXAMPLE IN THIS?
Exo 4:1  "They will never believe me or listen to me!" Moses protested. "They will say, 'The LORD didn't appear to you.'"
Exo 4:2  Then the LORD asked him, "What's that in your hand?" He answered, "A shepherd's staff."
Exo 4:3  The LORD said, "Throw it on the ground." When Moses threw it on the ground, it became a snake, and he ran away from it.
Exo 4:4  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Reach out and grab the snake by its tail." He reached out and grabbed it, and it turned back into a staff as he held it.
Exo 4:5  The LORD explained, "This is to convince the people that the LORD God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, appeared to you."
Exo 4:6  The LORD said to him, "Put your hand inside your shirt." So Moses did this, and when he took his hand out, it had a skin disease. It looked as flaky as snow.
Exo 4:7  "Now put your hand back inside your shirt," the LORD said. Moses put it back, and when he took it out this time, it was healthy again like the rest of his body.
Exo 4:8  Then the LORD said, "If they won't believe you or pay attention to the first miraculous sign, they may believe the second.
Exo 4:9  But if they won't believe these two miraculous signs or listen to you, take some water from the Nile River and pour it on the ground. The water you take from the Nile will turn into blood on the ground."
Exo 4:10  Moses said to the LORD, "Please, Lord, I'm not a good speaker. I've never been a good speaker, and I'm not now, even though you've spoken to me. I speak slowly, and I become tongue-tied easily."
Exo 4:11  The LORD asked him, "Who gave humans their mouths? Who makes humans unable to talk or hear? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? It is I, the LORD!
Exo 4:12  Now go, and I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."
God trained Moses in the hidden, God the Holy Spirit will train you as well in the hidden.
Seek daily for the Holy Spirit to train you in the Spirit and live out the word of God.
IN CLOSING.
Will you agree to work with the Holy Spirit daily and allow Him to train you to become naturally supernatural.
