Fire and Temptation~May 15, 2004

To you Lord I give my praise.  Your power has swept before me all my dangers.  Your will has led me safely home. In you Lord I rejoice.  Your greatness spreads like a wildfire before me.  It consumes all that is before me and all that has past.  Your greatness is a fire that purifies the soul.  The old is burnt away.  The new is given life.  Callouses melt away.  Smoothness remains.  Purge me with your fire Lord.  Cleanse my spirit.  Renew my mind and purify its thoughts.  Let all my thoughts dwell on you Lord.  Let my thoughts be mirrors of thy will in me.  Let your will be the beginning of my actions and my speech.  Open my heart Lord  that I may proclaim thy greatness.  Open my lips Lord that I may speak of you greatness.  O Great Lord, Father hear my cry.  Deliver me from the snares of temptation.  Keep my feet on your path.  Lord lead me home.
