Exodus 31:1–11 ESV
1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, 4 to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, 5 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft. 6 And behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you: 7 the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furnishings of the tent, 8 the table and its utensils, and the pure lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense, 9 and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin and its stand, 10 and the finely worked garments, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the Holy Place. According to all that I have commanded you, they shall do.”

Jesus is the God that Travels With His People

---Develop the Tabernacle
---- God lived with Man before the fall in a Holy Place - Eden and a Holy Time — Sabbath.
Genesis 2:3 ESV
3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
---God kicks out Adam and Eve from the HOLY PLACE

Where can people go to Worship God Now?

The tabernacle was built at God’s instruction and it was the only authorized place you could worship Yahweh in the world.
How did it look?
God gave mandated instructions as to how it would be built?
For centuries there worship was tied to this place. They get an upgrade to a temple. They then get it torn down because of their disobedience and they are back to square one. And then the question comes, why is our worship so tied to this place that can be torn down at any moment either because of our wickedness or by one of our enemy’s hand. Could this place be pointing us to something else?
John 1:14 ESV
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
dwelt = “tabernacled “
Jesus tabernacled with his disciples.
Jesus tabernacled with the two thieves
Jesus tabernacled with the 500 that saw him alive.
Jesus went to heaven so that he could tabernacle in Spirit with the Saints in this present moment.

So where is the place of worship now?

You. Because Jesus lives in You.

What Adam lost in the garden, you regained through the death, burial, and resurrection in Jesus Christ. You became a tabernacle. A living.....
Romans 12:1
1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Worship becomes a lip and lifestyle commitment. Whole body.

What does it look like for you to make a whole body commitment to Jesus?

AS THE offering tray passed, a little girl took the tray, put it on the floor, and stood up in the offering plate. The usher said, “Honey, why are you doing that?” And she said, “Because they taught me in Sunday school that my whole body was to be offered to the Savior.” This little girl got the point that she was the one who belonged in the tray, and that God does not want donations.
When Jesus Christ saved you, He invited you to partner in a new realm with Trinity—the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit—in order to keep the agents of evil from dominating and taking over humanity. You have been called to something bigger. If you don’t experience that new realm, if you are satisfied being a Thomas when you were made to be a Neo, you will not experience all that you were designed to experience. Now Neo had to make a choice about where he wanted to live. He had to choose between two pills. One pill would take him into the new realm. The other pill would send him back to his ordinary life. He took the pill that would make his life no longer the same, ordinary existence. After choosing the pill of the new realm, he no longer got up every day to the same old life; he now got up and entered the Matrix.
