Who do you sound like? That's what I know. If you take a note this morning, who do you sound? Like, if you want to download of our sermon notes, if you put that back on the screen really quick, if you can, you can text this number. You get a copy of our sermon notes, on a weekly basis. But today I want to talk about who you sound. Like I was I was kind of preparing. I was thinking about take if I can give a little illustration that I can kind of do some voice impressions and stuff like that, and I can do some different voice impressions to try to open everything up. But I think I was freaking out more and trying to figure out how to do that cuz I couldn't think of any voice anybody that I can you know mimic or anything. And so I started searching and I think I spent more time searching and trying to figure out what voice to do than I actually did it for my sermon. Maybe I did, maybe I did, but I want to do this real quick. I want us to go over and let me show something in just a few seconds if you guys getting queued up because what we all want to talk about, who do we sound like What do we sound like? And who do we make what words come out around my house? What sounds come out of our mouths while we were talking in and if you can go ahead and keep this up and we'll follow up in just a few seconds because we want to sound like God in the world in which we live in a man video.

I have a boyfriend. You can see that I think it in that video clip when I was listen to he did over a hundred different voice impressions in as I was listening to it and I was thinking about what the Lord had dropped up, my heart started to just to kind of resonate with me. You know we all can sound like so many different things. But when we speak, who really do we sound? Like, and whoever you may sound like and and I want to say that we should be sounding like God and when I mean like sounding like God I'm not talkin about everybody's got to have this big bass. Why were you think God sounds with this baritone voice? Like I said, Thou shalt not speak to all of us. We hear different in our own ears but what I do want to talk about while we're here to together today is Joyce your words, reflect the voice of God. Are those your words that come out of your mouth reflect the voice of this world? That's what I'm talkin about. Who do you sound like that? When you're talking in your speaking and will we're going about our daily Affairs in life? Who did York, who does your words reflect? Because it's going to either reflect God. I was going to either reflect the world and there's not kind of a middle ways in there. I got a little God, I got a little, the world to me like a little guy, a little know, one of the others who you going to sound like And I want to take us to this place in the Book of Luke chapter number 6, where Jesus is giving this principle in the teaching that he was talking. And he had given several different stories and principles in the Book of Luke, and it gets down to this one. And Luke chapter, number 43. And he starts talking about a tree, he said the good tree bear. No good tree bear, bad fruit and he's got to do a comparison here nor does a bad dream bear. Good fruit. Either tree is record. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People don't pick trick of figs from Thorn. Bushes are great. Some Briars Come on let's go to the next one. Good man brings good things out of the good stores up in his heart and a evil man. Brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. Look at what he finished. This little small, little 3 verse teaching on. He says, for the mouth speaks. What the heart is full of somebody. Hit the person next to you. Say, what are you full of this morning? Come on. Say what are you full of this morning? What are you full of this morning? Because here's the key, if he said that, what comes out of your mouth is what's filled up in your heart. Somebody enjoying that a little too much. Come on, back with me.

Because he says, what's in your heart is what's coming out of your mouth? He gives a comparison here. I want you to hear this. He said, I want you to take note to the two things, he said he talks about fruit. Any talks about things spoken? And when you look at both of those, he Jesus, is Ty teaching this now, and he said, based on the fruit, the things that are evident in your life.

Mother to mine is judging you but was evident in your life and then he says, on the other part of it, what comes out of your mouth will give an accurate picture in a reflection of what type of person you are. Everybody saying what you doing is as fruitless as things that are sent you on your life and what comes on and what people can see and they know about what don't judge me. Nobody should be judging. Nobody know. The Bible says that we will know them by their what So that's that's something that God said that time you going to recognize whether they're trick a Christian, you ain't got to judge them. Just look at that fruit. Look at what's happening in their lives. Look at what's happening in their lives and you look, look at that. If you talk to a person long enough, here's what I found. If you just listened to a person long enough, you will be able to locate where that person is spiritually or whatever in the area of the apartment in their lives components.

You'll be able to figure out not that you're trying to figure out anybody or tell anybody down, but you'll be able to locate where they're at, just by listening to them. It is amazing, what Jesus said? He says, man, you just observe what's going on around you. You'll get a good picture of it. He's as a good person. A good man doesn't have evil stuff. Stored up in his heart. Nor the evil person don't have a good things to put up in their heart. so, when I started reading this, and I'm working through it, I was listening and so as I'm listening, I said, because what's in my heart is what's going to come out? The teaching here is not about the heart, it's about who you sound like because you can we should be sounding like the people of God, you're British people be from England that was working on my little trying to get a British accent, but I couldn't do it. That's all about what limits.

so, if we are part of the kingdom of God, we should sound like, who God We should be sounding like him, not since most of your tone of your voice but it what's coming out of your mouth? Where everybody else in the world is, they're speaking doubt and confusion. We should be standing. And speaking faith in that, we have confidence in the Lord. We're about Elsa, speaking fear. We should be saying, no, God has for me when they're speaking defeat, we should be speaking that we are Overcomers in Christ. Jesus. See, there's no where in the Bible that you can show me where Jesus spoke doubt or unbelief. if I say, Amen to that nowhere in the Bible that Jesus spoke fear, so, if, if that's what's coming out of our mouths, who are we sounding like

Our heavenly father, because we're Sons and Daughters of the king and worse Sons and Daughters of the king. They were part of the kingdom of God. We should be speaking the language and sounding like those are from the language of the kingdom of God. I'm so as I'm looking like this, as I'm looking through this, I'm thinking about, okay. Hey, who do I sound like what I'm going about my everyday because I know how to sound really spiritual in this house. Everybody to eat, man. But what about when we leave these doors in a few moments? And it's tomorrow, morning is Monday morning and you're kind of like, do you sound really spiritual on a Monday morning? Who you sound like on a Monday morning. What about by the time you get there? Thursday?

Hey by the old laurelle who are you really sound alike but we sound like something. Some of us have you ever talked to somebody and be quiet? You sound crazy right now.

It wasn't because of the tone and we'll just because of what they were saying in the words that they were using.

Bring us to that point because Jesus said this is the indication how will the world know us? Don't know us. Because who we sound? Like we sound like our fathers. We should sound like I have only father in this world, in which we live in. That's what he's called us to do. He's a man, whenever you're full of That's what you got to sound like in working through this and in when I was working through what I said, okay, what do I sound like a who do I want to sound like, cuz, you know, I know I can't get the James Earl Jones part of it. But I do want to sound like something and I know when I go outside of these doors today, I should be talking about something that people recognize and I'm a Christian. So I got to I got six things. I want to tell you because you know it starts in our heart. If I, what do I want to sound like the number one? And he's not in any order but I want to sound like a true worshipper all day long. I don't want to sound like, I want to sound like a true worshipper talk about the quality of my voice. I'm not talk about how well I can sing. Worship is just not, you know, how were you singing? Thank God for those that are gifted and worship, like, we experienced this morning. Now, it was great. Now, they were true worshippers. Now, I'm not working for two, but you would have been excited for me to be up on this stage this morning. You would not have you been like, Oh my Jesus worship Josh?

It wasn't because my heart's on it. I'm just I don't have the talent in the gift to be able to stay on Anki. They will have to change key. Every other word. You'd be like like this right here, Jesus.

But see, that's not what the Bible is speaking of right now.

You got a cell like a true worshipper all day. Go over to Psalms chapter 271, look at verse number 7, because what the writer of the song that's say he's just my life is an example, too many. Why should you be sounding like a worshipper? Your life is an example of where I know that you're Christian on your job. Then, do you go to church? People in your house know that you are Christian. If I say they should know on your house your Kristen. So everybody your house, don't you a Christian and your life is an example to people in your house people on your jobs are right you got your life is an example to many. He's at because you have been my strength and my protection. That's why. I can never stop praising. You come on somebody to worship your worship for all day long. And not just on a Sunday morning while while the music is is chicken. Tikka shirt for somebody that's constantly talking about the goodness of the Lord, because all of our life, our example, the Bible says that this way that we are living Epistles.

Been worried about getting that people are looking at our lives. They know who we are because of that. I got to be an example to everybody. I'm coming in contacts because here's what I'm using the Lord for because God you have been my protector. You been keeping me. You stressing me. You giving me the ability to keep going to remember I came up in the church or sometimes it's a part of their testimony. It was safe to thank God that he's kept me in my right mind. Sometimes we're trying to figure out what do, I'm praising the Lord for he kept. He gave you the ability to get up this morning and make it out of the door into the house of God. So you have something to praise God for all day long. Just appeared of the day all day. Long, should be an example for it because I got to declare your glory. All day long, all day long, all day long. As you got to be a true worshipper all day long. Number 2, I want to sound like a true disciple of Jesus.

I'm going to sound like a true disciple of Matthew chapter number 10, You going to pick up inverse number 18? I'll start reading inverse number 62. I'm sending you out. Like she was Among Wolves there for Be a shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local Council and be flawed. That means be beating Whoops, in the synagogue. First number 18 says, he misses sometimes it messes with our physiology because it messes with our theology. When we talked about we got to go through some things for the sake of Jesus. Because oftentimes when we got to go through a. Of time he may be rough. We're trying to rebuke the devil, we're trying to say there. Okay, there must be some setting. I like every time you go through a rough patch, it's not because of this, I'm sending your life. The Bible says, if you are a follower of Christ suffer, some hard times to so you're not greater than your master. He talked about himself and here, he brings us to confront that he's on my account, come on now, because all my account, you will be brought me four Governors and Kings as a witness to them into the Gentiles.

but when they arrest you, don't worry about what to say and how to say it. At that time, you'll be given what to say.

Probably will not be you speaking. What's the spirit of your? Father speaking through you, what's, what are we talkin about? I want to sound like a true disciple. I want to sound like a design for a follower of Christ. I want to sound like a disciple when I'm going through the rough times. I want to sound like a disciple to follow Christ. When I'm in the valley, I want to sound like a disciple of Christ, when things are not working out for me, I want to sound like I'm a follower of Christ. When do I'm praying about this, but I'm not seeing it materialize in my life. I still want to sound like a. I decide what? I don't want to just sound like a disciple. What? Everything is going? All right.

I want that sound like continue to resonate from my heart in my mouth. That got I may be walking through a moment, but I'm still with Jesus. Jesus is still on my side. I want that the ring from me and Jesus are sometimes when you're going through is on my account and you're not going to be able to explain it, you're not going to know what to say from the natural. You not going to know what to send your mind, but if you just wait a moment, can you let me speak? You won't mess it up. Because sometimes, when we're going through a hard time, we start saying all this stuff, and we just messed up stuff, because we're going through a hard time. Nobody wants to be discomfort at. Nobody wants to go through a. Of a setback. But sometimes because we will suffer and go through those things because we are following Jesus. And he said, you know what, the world don't like you.

You didn't like me talking to, you know, if a man like me and he will send a list. He was perfect. How in the world he says you got like you that one that may be imperfect you and maybe miss it for a moment. What do you sound like?

What do you sound like when the when the time's going to look chop? What do you sound like when money gets a little tough? What do you sound like when your physical body gets a little worn down? What do you sound like, do you still sound like you are a follower of Christ? All the time. Number 3. I want to sound like I understand. The authority of God's word. I want to sound like that. I want to, I want to sound like that Amanda. I understand God's word that God's word is all-powerful and God's word. Can you do open the doors that needs to be open? And God's word has all power in it is I was reading and listen to a a teaching by John Maxwell and John Maxwell. In this particular teaching that he was, I was listening to and I read some of the transcripts of it, he was talking about Jesus, the transformational leader. And one of the observations that John Maxwell, we going to go with Matthew chapter 7 in just a second but one of the observations that John Maxwell make is that is that Jesus all things. Other people didn't see it. Then another observation he make you said Jesus. What sad things other people didn't say.

Chemistry. Chapter number 7, look at verse number 28 and goes like this. When Jesus has finished saying these things across Were Us amazed at his teachings. You can go and flip it to the next one for he talked with real Authority. I don't like the their teachers other religious law. Jesus have a perception in the inside, about the power of God's word, and when he was here, physically in this earth, and when he was talking, he was taking from such a perspective, like, he was like me and where they are. You getting this stuff? How can you say that? If you making this stuff up there with their were amazed. See, Jesus had a revelation of who God was so he understood the power of God's word. And when we understand the power of God's word in regard to you may find ourselves facing. We still was speaking and we were talking and we will teach it as one. That's God's words, going to come through for you. When we understand your thoughts and work, we never take a step back. We can always say I am victorious in in and through Christ. Jesus, no weapon formed against me shall prosper, so you can stitch that. You can share that with somebody else because you understand what's going on and you understand the power of God's word, that God's work and get you through any circumstance. I watch the God's word, never fails.

Is it when you're teaching that you'll go talk and you don't, you want to take a back burner and you won't stop talking about the goodness of the Lord, you will stand firm and faith in with confidence because you're no at Angie's of the sitting there teaching them and it wasn't the first time that he was that. Those people have been taught. He was reading the same book that everybody else was reading from the same Scrolls weather from everybody else. He was teaching the law of Moses, like all the rest of the teachers, that was teaching the law of Moses. But he had an Insight that they did not have. Is it what the holy spirit will give to all of us. He'll give us an Insight that we can do it in a certain the heart. When you know in your heart that something is real. When you know something in your heart that something is true. Nobody can shake you. Nobody can get you off of it and you will speak boldly about it. Just what is all about. I want to. I want to understand the authority of God's work and I can't be shaken other things in this life.

My message is based on God's. Power will give you a scripture for that. Everything will give you a Biblical principle for everything. He says this is Paul riding in 1st Corinthians chapter number 2, he said and so It was with me brother and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with the eloquence of human wisdom as I Proclaim to you. The testimony about God. I resolved to know nothing while I was with you accept Jesus Christ and him crucified. came to you in weakness, and with great fear, and trembling, My message.

Come on my life, message. Call Zach when is not talking about this Bible teaching. I'm about to give you. You talk about this message in life. My message and my preaching.

Or not with wise and persuasive words. but with a demonstration of the spirits power,

on the sound like, My life message is based on God, has power on God's ability viability. Might be my ability to be able to work something out, but God's ability to be able to work, everything's I got some ability to be able to bring every and lift everything up. God's ability to be able to help me overcome every adversity, that I'll go to, God's ability to strengthen me as I'm walking along, the way, God's ability to be able to keep me going and going and going and going, I would have to speak that. My life messages is a testimony to the power of God. Do when you understand that and you know, that your sound that will keep coming out and you'll keep preaching the same messages and everybody to. Can you say that if you're going through, what I'm going through, it's about the God is good. God is all the time and we're Godless or whether I have a dime in my pocket or a dime in my bank account is still won't take away from the fact that God is still good and God is all-powerful. It's on my message will never change and I can still declare that my God shall supply all my needs a whooping. I know that God will supply my only because God's got the power to supply and I may not have anything in my bank account but God shows up somehow and somebody else to take care of it for me. Did my message won't change it? Sometimes? What happen if we get lost because our message change based on what we're going through.

Message Kate change because God's Powers still all-powerful, they give you two more will finish for today. Number 5, I want to I want to sound like a person of genuine Faith, Romans chapter 4 and take you to Abraham just for a moment.

First number 20, you know, this is the season that's giving a recount of a think of when Abraham and Sarah was waiting on their blessing to manifest their waiting on the promise that God had made to them. Roman 4:22. He did not waver talking about, he talked about Abraham cuz you got Noah took 25 years from the time. That God says, here is compromise before I came to pass. And I would think that, you know, all the time he said he didn't waver through unbelief regarding the promise, regarding what God has said. He did not waver from what God has said, or did somebody needs to hear this? And he did not waver, from what God has said. He does. But he was strengthened and face, and he gave glory to God, leave that up there just for a second. He did not waver based on what guy that said, but here's what I really just kind of blows my mind. You know, God gives you a promise the first day. I'm shouting a problem. Thank you. You going to bring it to pass a week. I mean, I still haven't gotten it. I still got a little passion in my little Jimmy told God, I thank you that you going to bring it to pass, but if it's a year now,

Are you still with the same amount of energy with the same amount of passion with the same amount of conviction of what God has said we save this, God is a man that he cannot lie. If he said that he's going to do it. If we if we can quote that why in the world do we start saying the god you're alive? Because you haven't done it and I don't think you're going to do it and so I'm not going to believe it in the more so if we say one had God, you're not a liar.

But on the other hand, we stopped thanking God because most able God must have made a mistake. He hadn't done it. So, did he just got a liar? No. If we know that so we should be able to say strengthen and what God Said, I don't know when it's going to come. I don't know. The timetable, I don't set the timetable neither. Do you. And what's really remarkable here? The Bible says that Abraham was strengthened in his face as he kept giving glory to God,

Is it kept giving glory to God?

Being fully persuaded. You going to flip the side being fully persuaded that God Look at that power. To do what he had promised. I want to sound like a person that my faith is genuine. I believe God with my heart. It's not an up-and-down. I'm not on the roller coaster ride. I don't want to be that one that is being double-minded tossed to and fro is, it depends on how I feel today. Depends on how it looks today. I want to lock in, I want to I want to lock it. I I don't I don't make it all the time, but I want to lock it in my face. I want to lock you in on what God and said, I want to keep going and let my voice be the same and say, okay, hey, what's going on? I'm still locked and I'm still trusting God. I'm still believing in the Lord. My voice is still the same will. Look at what happened. I know what may have happened but I'm still locked in that God is good. Yes, I pray for my mom but God is still over here or do. I don't know. I won't ever stop saying that he's still a Healer. What do you like will you pray for him? But God took her out. That's not my choice. God has said that if we all are part of the time to leave this earth, this is not our home.

This is not what we going to spend eternity yet. Tom sister, will you still say God is here yet? I'm still logged in. I still say, God Is A Healer guy can still heal any disease. Guy can still overcome any adversity and lying. I want my face to be genuine. I want to go somewhere. Now, got to hit my mom. I'm going to take my bike, I'm going home. I'm getting me another job and let's go out to the plan and get a job out there. We're going to go to work. I don't believe this stuff anymore. As God is true, let God be true. And every man, be a liar. You got to have faith in God, you have a confidence in God that it will not be shaken. Irregardless of whatever may come your way. I want my face to be genuine and how would I get off? And I keep looking to God, I keep looking to my God, it said, call your uncle powerful.

Number 6. Call like someone. Who could change the speak of God's faithfulness, will finish today in the band? You guys can come on back up. I will finish you want to continue to speak of God's faithfulness, Psalms 89. I will sing of the Lord's. Great love.

I want to sound like someone. That was my mouth. I want to side with someone. That's I understand the greatness of God's got someone. That's in my heart. In my thoughts from generation to generation. I want to make know how great our God is. We looking with that or what's going to happen to this next Generation. If we don't make known if we don't open our mouths up now turned to make, no know how great our God is, how much God loves each one of us. How will the next Generation know?

I want to sound like,

God is faithful. God loves you. God's been faithful. Everyday, God's couples everyday over and over and over, and over, and over and over again.

And I don't know about you. I don't want to have one voice here and then a different voice there.

I have a voice. if you catch me in the store,

good. Is faithful. Do come through help. You watch over us. He'll protect us. I want to sing about it.

What do you sound like? What do you sound like?

Everyday. When you have a valid? Do you sound like God can they hear your voice in the valley?

Are you just a Mountaintop Fraser?

Praise Him. Am I good times? Am I bad times? I praise him in my highs and lows.

I prick them in my strength and weakness.

I don't see how it's going to work out.

You're my God. Nvax.

Father, I thank you today.

Is it all of our lives and all of our walks? You're not going out and not coming in.

That's the voice of the Lord. It what Rings forth from our hearts in our mouths. About your goodness. Got even in those moments where we are caught off guard. Let us gather ourselves.

Let us turn our focus. In our attention back to you. Let us continue to give you glory and honor.

It will make known your greatness to all generations. In the name of Jesus, we pray and everybody say, amen. And amen. And amen, let's stand together today.
