Intro: ME (Orientation)

Introduce yourself and your topic – find common ground with your audience.

I use to struggle with people. I could do most things on my own so I didn’t need you. And if you weren’t for me than you were agesnt me. I liked being around people but I didnt need them. most of this was do to the rejection i recived as a child. So I would just do life on my own. This also caused me to nit love people well.

WE (Identification)

Build an emotional common ground with your audience – build as many bridges emotionally as possible.

How many of us in this room at one point in our life did like people or maybe there are types of people that we really sturgle being around. We all have people we love but we also have people we cant stand. How many of you have people you dont like and you dont even know why?

Lets see what God says about loving people.

GOD (Illumination)

God has a solution for us today – engage your audience with the text – Don’t just read it. Don’t explain it to death. Make it fascinating!

Matthew 22:37-39

 Jesus answered him, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’ 38 This is the great and supreme commandment. 39 And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself.’

Jesus is tells us stright up we must love God and People. You cant love on and not the other. They are the same.

John 13:35 

For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”

YOU (Application)

Find one point of application everyone can embrace. Don’t ask them to make a life-altering decision. Give them a measurable or reachable goal. Encourage them to try something for a week, a day, or even a month.

How dose this change how you view people? Loving people matters. You have to love God and Love People. It’s impossable to love God and not love people. this dosen’t mean that some people arn’t hard to love. What if you spent the next few weeks before school starts pray and asking God to help you see people the same way he dose. What if you asked Him to help you love people like he dose?

If you really want to see God’s presances in your life start seeking Him asking to love like He dose.

WE (Inspiration)

Cast a vision – prompt a decision by briefly describing what would happen if this group of people would follow what has been taught. Tell them to imagine what WE could do together.

Just think what would happen if we loved people like Jesus? What would the world look like if 2.3 billion christians started to love like Jesus. We make up arounf 31% of the worlds population. How much would things change? What would your school look like? What about your job? What about your friends? What if you loved your family like Jesus? What if we became so despreat for God that we couldn’t help but to love people.
