Funeral, August 13/21

I remember walking into the Drop - In Center in LeRoy for service. It was January of 2018. Lynda was our A/V person, but she did much more than that. There was a big smile and a firm handshake. When we started service, Lynda got up and started our service with a devotional. It was kind of a thought for the week. One of her sources was “Our Daily Bread.”
It didn’t take long to figure out that Lynda was an avid reader. One night she told us how, as a child, she used to spend time reading once she had gone to bed. She would use the flash light under the blankets. I haven’t tried that yet, but I’m sure that it worked for Lynda. One thing about reading is that it opens the world up to us.
Jeremiah 15:16 (NIV) says,
When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.
