Modern preaching falls victim to the following problems:
the fear of man
no “revelation”
revelation requires studying for yourself, and meditating on scripture, which is something most Christians don’t even know to do.
preaching “theory”
only preaching “milk”
seeing preaching as either “truth” or “grace”
Focusing on the lost in church
not taking stances on things
Does the Bible give guidance on how to preach?
Are people who are hungry to know God satisfied with *only* milk?
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Prioritizing Fellowship
The Plan:
- When we get our location: “settle in”, nail down each of our teams, nail down the new service time & structure, get used to everything.
- I am adding some community features to the app and I’m writing a book called “Mind Renew” outlining the most important elements of our message.
- Have a launch service. Depending on when we get our new place, Lord willing, sometime in September or October.
- Invite people like crazy, do outreach like crazy, and any other ways we can, to get, at minimum, 150 people at our launch.
