Jesus Is All In One

Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Col 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Col 1:21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Col 1:22  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Col 1:23  If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Paul addresses the church of Colosse, a major city of southwestern Asia Minor now present day Turkey.
Historians are not in agreement of when the apostle Paul wrote the letter to the church.
Some say it was from his Rome imprisonment in the early 60 AD or the late 50 A D s doing his imprisonment in Caesarea.
Paul did not organized the church of Colossae but was advised of it’s issues and growth by the disciple Epaphras who was a leader or the founder of the church.
Paul addresses the influx of false teachers who were claiming to have superior wisdom and were stirring heresies among the church stating the believers needed more than just their faith in Christ but needed other elements to perfect their faith.......circumcision, rites, festivals, dietary laws etc.........
This letter was to confirm the fact that faith in Jesus was all that the believer needed and besides Christ there was no other source for salvation.
Doing this pandemic the deceiver is attempting to sway believers that there are alternatives to in person worship and even the church as your source of spirituality.
Face book saints there is a call to fight for your life.
The longer you remain a Face book only viewer there is a soft lull that is or can pull you away from desiring a meaningful return to in person worship.
Just as the false teachers were telling the saints there were things to replace Christ worship the deceiver is telling some that even when the pandemic is over and even now,,,,,in person worship is a thing of the past.
Just as in the secular workforce: since the work at home-zoom calls—go to meeting.com ; many of the workforce of many companies are demanding to work from home permanently .
Some Facebook viewers and Youtubber worshippers may be now pondering over the option of just remaining an online member in lieu of returning to in person worship when it is proper.

Stay Focus On Jesus

Col 1:1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,
Col 1:2  To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanksgiving and Prayer
Col 1:3  We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Col 1:4  Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
Col 1:5  For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
2Ti 4:6  For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
2Ti 4:7  I have fought a good fight, (put on the whole armor….Don’t dress like the Zoom meetings; half dressed) I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
2Ti 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Col 1:6  Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
Col 1:7  As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
Col 1:8  Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
Col 1:9  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col 1:11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
The Preeminence of Christ
Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
