Installing new software on your device requires you to have enough storage space. In the case that you don’t, you have to decide what needs to be deleted and removed in order to make room for the new software.
What needs to be removed in order for you to get the holy spirit upgrade in your life right now? What has to go? What is taking up space and distracting you from God’s agenda for your life?
This reminds me of the gospel message. Jesus doesn’t make bad people good, but dead people come to life. Spiritual regeneration and new birth.
Peter was transformed by Jesus. He was an apostle and follower of Jesus. Fully known and full of mistakes. But he had experienced the grace of Jesus even in his sinful disobedience and rejection of Jesus in his final hours on earth.
He was writing to his beloved brothers and sisters in Christ

Persecution - the gospel going out in the midst of what seemed like chaos and disorder.
Peter knew the greatest hope and encourages them to hold fast to the glorious truth of the gospel and arrival of Jesus one day.
