The Holy Spirit is the main character of the book of Acts

God is fulfilling his promise to uphold the church

No government, no enemy, no culture can stop the church

No church member can hault the progress of the mission

Response of the World

“The rest” or “the others” are those who are unbelievers

They would not join themselves to the church

They realized the church required radical commitment

Multitudes were added to the Lord and brought into the church
