Because innocent vulnerable children are so precious to God, Jesus harshly condemned anyone who causes a little one to fall. Then He commanded all of us to cut off and cast aside anything that makes us stumble. He called for radical renunciation of sin and threatened the unrepentant with the eternal fire of hell.
