Lack Of Knowledge My People Perish

Hosea 4:6 ESV

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

Romans 1:28–32 ESV

28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Lack Of Knowledge.

In the scripture it is made mention of the priest. Those days when God gave the law to Moses, He charge Moses to tell the priest to read the law to the people, therefore it was the duty of the priest to read the laws of God to the people. the priest failed in there duty and therefore the people lacked the knowledge of God and thereby were led astray by there own deeds’

Now because of the lack of Knowledge of God word, everybody did what seem fit in his own eyes, so

there were those who decided that they will go after women,

there were those who also decided that, they will be drunkards

There were those who decided that, they will sniff cocaine

There were those who decided that, they will in for money rituals

Now this is a vivid description of the country in which i find myself, i will not even talk about the country but Abossey Okai, the area in which I leave.

so if you are listening to me and you are on the above mentioned, what it simply means is that you lack the knowledge of God.

My People Are Destroyed

Now because we lack knowledge of God laws and have chosen our own ways, we are being destroyed.

I had a conversation with my wife about a man we knew, the man chose a way of life of drinking and womanising and he went in for some one’s wife and he was beaten, where those who beat him up broke his legs and hands and he died as a result of that, so i asked my wife, after the drinking and womanising what did he get out of it, he is being destroyed by his way of life.

if he had the knowledge of God word or knew the word of God but rejected it that says, stick to your wife, I believe this man would have been alive by now.

When i see the lives of people being destroyed day in day out because the lifestyle they have chosen it pains my heart. On Sundays my church we go round to do evangelism and on one occasion we were conversion with one particular individual and there came a guy who was so drunk, he came there insulting us, he came with alcohol in a plastic container, he drunk it in from of us and threw the the plastic container on us, and left, in fact that day I took notice of him, and i have being seeing him and i feel sorry for him because his life is crumbling down, he is on the path of being totally destroyed.
