Tenacity
Tenacity
The dictionary definition of tenacity is the quality or property of holding together firmly.
That particular mindset is key to reaching the Finish Line.
In Life you will encounter many wins and losses. Some moments will feel surreal and others back breaking. But the calling card of the believer is the resiliency of our belief that God is who he said and says he is and he can do what he said and says he can do.
Faith in itself is an act of tenacity. It is holding firmly in the truth that God, as much as he may be physically invisible, is in fact very present within 2 other senses.
Yes I can’t see him but I trust him because I can HEAR him. Yes, I can’t see him but I know I can feel him. It’s these things that let me know that I can stand firm and be bold in my convictions knowing that God IS.
The Foundation of Tenacity
The Foundation of Tenacity
How is it possible to keep moving towards the Finish Line when everything around you, INCLUDING YOUR OWN MIND is moving in the opposite or stagnant direction? In the Oneness of God there is a plurality of abilities that carry titles that our God carries that are there specifically to aid you in this race we call life as we navigate the negative spaces both natural, and mental as well as emotional that will, at worst have us slow down (Unnaturally) and at best stop or go backwards.
It’s also easy to respect the divinity of God and our respective response when we learn, through the word, just how ENOUGH he really is.
Biblically there are over 100 names attributed to God. The list kept getting longer as Mankind got to know him better.
If you only view the God you serve in one capacity then the Finish Line will look further and further but You can only STAND when you know you are covered on all sides!
The ability to be tenacious in this fight/ race called Life and its many seasons and assignments is contingent upon the realization that you are never alone. The hand that you hold is capable of handling everything that ANYTHING can throw at him.

10 Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens. 13 For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit—which is the word of God. 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints. 19 Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel. 20 For this I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I might be bold enough to speak about it as I should.
