The New Revised Standard Version Paul Speaks to the Ephesian Elders

And now I commend you to God and to the message of his grace, a message that is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all who are sanctified.

Give me an example of a time when God did something to build you up.

The Widow’s Offering

21 Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, 2 and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. 3 And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. 4 For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

Why would the church choose to ignore the idea of unmerited grace?

7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

As I read through the lesson for this week I kept thinking to myself, haven’t we already discussed this chapter. Why do you think I had this feeling? I also asked myself why does the author put together a pre-quiz instead of a post quiz?
Does anyone have either or for question 6?
