Created for Good Works
Thanks to Dr. Blackmon and all of the Central High Administration and Faculty for the opportunity to come back to the CHOUSE!!!
This is the place were I grew up and learned about the world far beyond the neighborhood I grew up in.
I was able to excel in academics and athletics.
Football and Track and field (coach Roberts) .
I was able to come back under Coach bray to mentor the Ladies basketball team.
MOst importantly, for me, I met the woman who would become my wife on this plot of ground.
Before she was principal, she was my homeroom teacher and love connection match-maker
This is a good place and through my experience it highlighted the reality that we were made for good works.
After over a year of pandemonium, we need reassurance of the reality that we are created for good and to excel in everything do.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
The story is told of Albert Einstein as he would board a train. Einstein gets on the train and appears to be frustrated. The world famous, brilliant Albert Einstein is frantically looking for something.
Describe the search and train worker who approached him.
He keeps looking. .
The boy comes back-
I’m not looking for my ticket because i don’t know where i am going
Purpose and Identity

How do we use platforms to use our abilities to make life better.
The New Normal, everyone and every entity has at some point made a necessary adjustment to their normal flow. We have seen it in retail and the way we shop; the way we enjoy entertainment-movie theatres to now various streaming options.
It stands true, the pandemic has caused many of us to make some adjustments. The German Pianist, Igor Levit is no different.
Prior to the pandemic, Igor was accustomed to touring around the world playing in arenas and symphony halls. Playing to sell out crowds, with his animated style. It was his life, it was his dream. Then came Covid-19; everything changed !
All shows and tour dates cancelled! Promoters and managers scrambling trying to figure out: like millions of others- what to do?
As a performer; he misses the crowds and the applause from fans of his music. Then he did something innovative: He went live on social media from his home and just started playing. Fans began tuning in, thousands to hundreds of thousands watching Igor play in his home. For 30 straight days, he re-created what symphony halls and arenas missed. . . he re-created what he was afraid to loose, the connection with others.
He is not the only one who had to make or create some new normals. Other entertainers started doing mini concerts on social media. . . john legend, Anthony Hamilton. . .
For the club goers and party people, DJ. D-Nice encouraged millions with feel good party tunes to allow them to have a good time at home.
