I Will Come Again
I want to look at this text and just talk about life and give us This Promise of Hope we have today from the mouth of Jesus.
Verse 1

The Discerned Facts
a. We live in a troubled world
b. we don’t have to let it get us down
i want us to realize this has 3 aspects that this statement is covering
Don’t let your past get you down
Don’t let your present situation get you down
Don’t let what you don’t know is coming get you down
2. The Delivering Faith
God The Father and the Son are one and what either has stated is dependable.

The Lord looks down from heaven;

the greek word means a place to reside, dwell, or stay
This gives the idea of ownership, singing over titles
What he has prepared is prepared for me. It’s mine because He gave it to me.
verse 3

A Direct Promise
If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
