Hallelujah. Is everybody having a good time? Is everybody having a good time? Hallelujah. Thank you Deaconess. I've been thinking and and sister Maddie the pleasure. It's a pleasure here in the saxophone whenever you can make it praise the Lord. My scripture coming from coming from 2nd, Timothy 4:7, and 8. In the title of my message appropriate being it is the time of Olympics. The title of my messages.
The scripture reads. I have fought the good fight.
I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth. There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.
Which the Lord. The righteous judge shall give me on that day and not only me. But unto all them that love his appearing. Praise be the word. I'd say it right about this time in our lives. We all know what the Olympics is. People from all different nations compete for medals. We got a competitor in boxing. We got a competitor in swimming. We got a competitor in tennis and we got a competitor and track and field. Now, my lady. Loves track and field. It was her sport when she was younger. You see the whole purpose as I see it? Is the show ones that she meant in a particular sport? And of course to compete to win the gold.
These competitors spend years in training. Conditioning, their bodies. Preparing their minds.
To be mentally and physically fit for their events. The Comforts of normal life are sacrifice for a life of physical training for life of physical pain, sweating and stretching of their muscles. You seen a win the Olympics and to receive a gold medal. One must be in the best condition in body and in mine. Stick with me.
You see everyone, competes to be a winner and of course to win that gold medal.
What a feeling it must be standing on that podium. And then presenting you the gold medal. Imagine the ceremony. Millions of people watching on TV. Which is the way it is this year.
I have fought a good fight. I have finished. My course, I have kept the face. And there is laid upon me a crown of righteousness.
All of the months. I'm training all of the months I was sweating finally paid off.
What I'm here to tell you and I know you're awful. Quiet on me today.
Spears gum. Resemblance. To be in an Olympic athlete. You see Paul's to hit up the good fight. Oh yeah, you know, he wasn't a track star. And I said no, he wasn't a wrestler.
No, he wasn't a heavyweight boxer, trying out for a world title fights, spiritual fight. We fighting against in and we fight against the devil. We must prepare ourselves can be ready for come back. We must try it ourselves for some spiritually, spiritually fit, the wind. We must go away, spray free money, and that all time we must not give any grounds to the devil in man.
He see us Christians, we are going for the gold.
