Numbers 23:18 ESV
And Balaam took up his discourse and said, “Rise, Balak, and hear; give ear to me, O son of Zippor:

Behold, athese, bon Balaam’s advice, caused the people of Israel to act treacherously against the LORD in the incident of cPeor, and so dthe plague came among the congregation of the LORD.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are kravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them lby their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, mevery healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 nEvery tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them lby their fruits.
