Matthew 26:17-28:10
Matthew 26:17-28:10
(스탭미팅)
Matthew 26:26: His sacrifice would begin a new exodus in which people were liberated from slavery to sin.
CSB Study Bible: Notes (Chapter 27)
Jesus’s final temptation was to abandon the cross. But “although he was the Son, he learned obedience from what he suffered” and thereby was “perfected” so that “he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him” (Heb 5:8–9). “It was the power of love, not nails, that kept him there” (Robert H. Mounce). - Matthew 27:38-44
CSB Study Bible: Notes (Chapter 27)
27:50–51 Jesus’s death at 3:00 p.m. coincided with the afternoon sacrifice. Thus the priests were present in the temple to observe the rending of the curtain. The curtain of the sanctuary separated the holy of holies from the rest of the temple. According to the Mishnah, it was sixty feet long, thirty feet wide, and as thick as a man’s palm. It was so heavy that it took three hundred men to lift it when it was wet (m. Shek. 8:5). That it was torn in two from top to bottom shows that it was torn by God. This signified that Jesus’s death granted sinners new access to God
(Rock Wrap Up Worship)
God rules: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen. 1:1)
We sinned: Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree in the middle. God said “You must not eat it or touch it, or you will die”
-> disobey God. The Bible calls this sin. Sin separates us from God and deserves God’s punishment of death (Romans 6:23)
Christian Standard Bible Chapter 6
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3. God provided: “John 3:16”
Christian Standard Bible Chapter 3
For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
4. Jesus gives: Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Because Jesus gave up His life for us, we can be welcomed into God’s family for eternity. This is the best gift ever!
5. We respond: We can respond to Jesus.
Christian Standard Bible Chapter 10
9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Believe in your heart that Jesus alone saves you through what He’s already done on the cross. Repent, turning from self and sin to Jesus.
Object lesson (Salvation)
긴 나무 판, 짧은 나무판
This is an object lesson showing how we keep living after our bodies die. The question is where we spend eternity, heaven or hell.
Extension cord (Jesus’ power lets us live forever) <-> Satan’s power lets us live forevers in the hell.
“Our life is a preparation room to either go to heaven or hell.”

Christian Standard Bible Chapter 6
24 “May the LORD bless you and protect you;
25 may the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
26 may the LORD look with favor on you
and give you peace.” ’
27 In this way they will pronounce my name over the Israelites, and I will bless them.”
