One on One You and God | Uno a Uno Dios y tu

Last week we talk about being hungry for the Lord
What did you eat this week.
I thank God that I started loosing some weight, its feels good and some clothes are starting to fit me.
I’m still not all there with my food, I still dont salads
Part of my diet this week.

It’s so hard for me to eat this way, but I need to make an effort and make it part of my lifestyle.
You know where I am going with this.
WE NEED TO MAKE THE LORD PART OF OUR SPIRITUAL DIET
What did You eat this week
A BUSY SCHEDULES, is what makes it hard for us to read or pray or even fast
But when you start pursuing making Him part of your day, The Lord response to us like He did with Moses
Exodus 34:2–3 (NIV)
Be ready in the morning, and then come up on Mount Sinai. Present yourself to me there on top of the mountain. No one is to come with you or be seen anywhere on the mountain; not even the flocks and herds may graze in front of the mountain.”
Exodus 34:2–3 NVI
You can ask others to pray and you can seek the council of others, but when they leave, you will still feel alone
maybe you are in a transition where you are not sure
These are the times where we need to say, Don't send me up there unless your presence goes with me.
It is in the presence of the Lord that we begin to see differences.
THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD CHANGES US!
You can not be in the presence of God without being notice
You receive direction when you enter the presence of God
Last week Moses:
Has a conversation with the Lord and Moses said “ Don't send us up there unless your presence goes with us. Moses had engage in a conversation with the Lord, He had enter the presence of God
In Chapter 34 the Lord begins giving him direction and tells Moses Exactly what he needed to do.
Moses had broken the first set of stone tablets and now God is tells him to get a new set.
If break any commands God has required from you, you will start from scratch. God will fulfill His purpose in our lives sooner or later.

The Lord wanted a one one with Moses
Exodus 34:10
I am making a covenant with you… The people will see what I will do for you
Vs Obey what I command you today
ALLOW THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD TO INTERRUPT YOUR LIFE

1- WE NEED THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD BECAUSE IT GIVES US REST | NECESITAMOS LA PRESENCIA DE DIOS PORQUE NOS DA DESCANSO

Exodus 33:13–14 ESV
Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you in order to find favor in your sight. Consider too that this nation is your people.” And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:13–14 NVI
Where are you going to find that rest
We rest in the presence of the Lord because you find direction
You find peace, You find assurance
It is in the presence of the Lord that you understand that when you are weak The Lord becomes strong
In the presence of the Lord you do not have to know it all
You don't have to understand all things
Matthew 11:28 NIV
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 ESV
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Not only does the the presence of the Lord give us peace but it also confront us

2- THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD CONFRONTS US | LA PRESENCIA DE DIOS NOS CONFRONTA

EXAMPLE: ISAIAH
But there are occasions when His presence disturbs us instead. One remembers that vivid presence appearing to Isaiah in the temple. Rather than giving rest, it caused Isaiah to tremble and shake and to enter into confession. The presence of the Lord does that; it reveals our sinfulness.
Isaiah 6:5 NIV
“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
Isaiah 6:5 NVI
It is in the presence of the Lord that you see all the the things that you need to change
EXAMPLE: We love to see what is wrong with other,
people We pray to the Lord that He would change them and it is so easy to point fingers We hardly look into a mirror and see all the things that are wrong and need change But when you enter the presence of the Lord, you see yourselfWhen we seek the Lord we will find Him!
Moses wanted to be  the presence but he did not only want to be in the presence of the Lord, he wanted to see the glory of God
The More time you spend with God, the more you want to be with Him.
You crave God when you spend time with Him daily.
Moses was so hungry for God that He tells God to show him His glory
After God tells Moses that He will share His glory with Moses, God invites him to come up on the mountain and meet with Him the next day. Now what would you feel like if you had an appointment with God at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow?
He has given you instructions as to where to meet Him and what to bring with you. Would you be able to eat for the rest of the day? How much sleep do you think you’d get tonight? That was how it was for Moses. Moses was to bring with him two tablets of stone like the ones on which Moses had broken in his wrath against Israel.
How gracious God is! He is going to give Moses His testimony on the tablets of stone again.
I’m sure Moses didn’t sleep that night—I know I couldn’t sleep if I had a date with God the next morning. If God had promised to tell me something that He had never told anybody else, I would be wide-eyed all night long. No wonder the Scripture says that “Moses rose early in the morning and went up Mount Sinai.” This was to be the day of days; he was going to get a glimpse of God, even if just His back.
CALL GOD TO AN APPOINTMENT AND HE WILL GO
PURSUE HIM AND HE WILL START PuRSUING you
EMMA
When you call or text over and over people and they do not answer, How do you feel?
there is almost a sense, like they really dont want to speak to you, because in reality you make time for those who are important to you.
GOD WILL ALWAYS ANSWER YOUR CALL, AND WHEN WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT HIS PRESENCE, HE HIMSELF STARTS MAKING APPON

III- When you meet with God you will not go un notice |Cuando te topas con Dios, no pasas desapercibido

Exodus 34:29–35 NIV
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them. Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the Lord had given him on Mount Sinai. When Moses finished speaking to them, he put a veil over his face. But whenever he entered the Lord’s presence to speak with him, he removed the veil until he came out. And when he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, they saw that his face was radiant. Then Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the Lord.
Exodus 34:29–35 NVI
Luke 4:14–18 NIV
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,
Luke 4:14–18 NVI
It's hard to go in one on one with the Lord
We have busy schedules
Sometimes we don't have the strength
But when we come out, WE  DON'T GO UNNOTICED

Evangelism: We believe that the most effective form of evangelism happens when people invite other people. It’s the believer who builds relationships with their families and friends and extends an invitation. Evangelism becomes easier when we are filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
