The Dreamer

I chose to start this sermon by touching on a Word that God gave me concerning this Ministry months ago. That was that we are currently in our Season of Big.

Inside of that word was a directive that many may have missed and that’s ok. When faced with a word that seems so expansive and vague it is very possible for one to bask in awe than to actually get to work internally.

In any season in your life that God designates as your BIG season is going to come with some upgraded prerequisites in your relationship with God. One of those prerequisites is almost always going to be that your ability to DREAM is either going to be stretched or resurrected.

We all know that in Hebrews 11:6

There is a silent understanding written in the subtext that points the mind of the believer to one point.

My Faith Pleases God.

Prayer doesn’t work without Faith

Fasting does no good without Faith other than bodily gain

Worship is meaningless without Faith

Salvation itself hinges on the very presence of Faith being present in the heart and mind of the Believer. Faith is the Gateway to the Throne Room.

Naturally the ability to dream BIG must come from an internal resolve to see the future NOW. You may not see it yet, it may not have receipts, Emails, Text messages, Phone calls, voicemails, DM’s, tweets, or mentions connected to it yet but MY DREAMS said it was so!

But every dream comes a Nightmare, and with every Life-Giver comes a Life-Taker.

“Here Comes The Dreamer”

Joseph, Much like his Father Jacob was a dreamer. 17 years old, Obedient and observant. Understanding of his duty firstly to his Father.

Being favorited by his Father, We find a young man who by design and by blood is now walking into Favor both unasked and unsought.

Favor will always bring the First DreamKiller to the forefront. Jealousy.

Jealousy is always the precursor to the Dreamer walking into the Season of BIG because its the small wins that start to set the stage for the BIG wins. Jealousy is a natural reaction in the flesh to what God has chosen to do in the Spirit! It is never equal or balanced in its delivery

Joseph’s favor was shown with a Long sleeve Coat given to him by his Favor and was met by his brothers hatred and immediate decision to predetermine their reaction and actions towards him. He hasn’t even shared a dream yet but BECAUSE HE WAS SHOWN FAVOR that was enough to implement a safeguard that was comfortable to them.

Favor precedes The Dream. You can’t help that God chose you to WIN NOW!

Dream 1

The Ugly Beauty of Favor is that it can sometimes shield you from the feelings and perception of those who don’t have your best interest at Heart.

Joseph has his First Dream and immediately decides to share it to the very people who he loves but hates him.....

Listen to this dream I had: 7 There we were, binding sheaves of grain in the field. Suddenly my sheaf stood up, and your sheaves gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf.”

Not only did this incite more hatred what shouts out to me is this..... He didn’t know what the dream even meant yet!! He was just sharing what he saw!

Dream 2

Probably confused as to why his brothers reacted and probably looking for more information as to what it even meant, Dream 2 comes to him.

Christian Standard Bible Chapter 37

Then he had another dream and told it to his brothers. “Look,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun, moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

10 He told his father and brothers, and his father rebuked him. “What kind of dream is this that you have had?” he said. “Am I and your mother and your brothers really going to come and bow down to the ground before you?” 11 His brothers were jealous of him

but his father kept the matter in mind.

Genesis: An Introduction and Commentary Joseph Alienates His Family (37:1–11)

The two attitudes in this verse are those that always divide people in their reactions to news from God. The brothers’ scepticism was emotional and hasty; the father’s open mind was the product of some humility. Israel had learnt by now, as his sons had not, to allow for God’s hand in affairs, and for his right of choice among men.

Their ever growing jealousy lead them to take the former thought process which led them to Go down a path that would kill any dream!

WHATEVER GOD TOLD YOU SHALL COME TO PASS!!

Its in the Dream that God gave you that precedes its REALITY!

Jealousy will try to Question its validity DREAM ANYWAY

Jealousy will bring hate to the table DREAM ANYWAY

Jealousy will devise plots to derail and distract DREAM ANYWAY

Jealousy will use relationships closest to you to premeditate the Murder of your Potential DREAM ANYWAY

Jealousy will have those who should be supporting you wishing you dead DREAM ANYWAY

Jealousy will have family sell you out to the highest bidder or the nearest passerby DREAM ANYWAY

Make a decision today that as much as I can feel the tension in the air I WILL NOT STOP MY DREAM!!!
