When sharing new truth with our friends and family, the hard part is working with a new aspect of truth that is directly contrary to the understanding they were raised with or currently espouse. We call these testing truths. This lesson will explain how to work with people on testing truths.

Green Fruit
Soon the wagon halted, and the party began to scatter in every direction to find fruit. Just within their reach were bushes bearing large quantities of beautiful whortleberries; but they did not look close enough to see them. The ripe fruit was so mingled with the green that we could pick only one or two berries from a cluster. I commenced to gather the fruit very carefully for fear of picking the green berries, but my pail, which held two quarts, was quickly filled.
