I want to take us first to the Book of Romans, and I want us to look at Romans 8:5 and a because I believe that there is a very clear and Powerful statement that you and I need to understand as we come to our passage today.

A God in his sovereignty, knowing what is ahead declares this ahead of time.

And no doubt Isaac is is aware of this Oracle that God has given.
