Baptised and filled (Baptisms in.....)
I've been looking at baptism throughout August. We've been looking at the water, baptism up to now, but I really would like to look at baptism in the spirit. I'm so let me cry and then we'll come run.
Fathers we come around you. What? The father I thank you. He's living and effective. Father, I thank you that it shines forth into our lives. Let your words be power and authority. We pray. Let us know more of you.
I just made more of your spirit at work in our lives.

In the times of the disciples when Jesus walked on this Earth, physically I'm his disciples by loving him about what he was saying, passionate about, what he was doing there were any other, there was a whole Posse the Gathering by the lake. Genesis life was with a number of his disciples were with him in the boat when they can calm, the storm and walked on water.
And then he went to the cross.
And he paid the price. He died and he rose again. And those disciples went through that cycle of Celebration and then if need and the desperation say was it'll real. And then he came back to them and he said, see as it was written a sea slug. I need a dentist, send it to the father's side, but he said, I will not leave you. I will send the comforter, who will will enable you, and feel you. And we read in the book of Acts. And most of my reading today, will be from the book of Acts about the Holy Spirit.
I'm not quite from a number of different readings. In the book of Acts Acts chapter 8, verses 15 to 17 who might receive the holy spirit for ICICI. I had only being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit cartoon nature of God that feels that we don't need to see God. All those night would be nice, wouldn't it? We can see God's hand at work.
They're all times in our world when we kind of do what we need to do. And God comes and does through us things that all purely miraculous. You might have heard this story before our time. And I heard the story when I was in Canada, I met the lady who took it from the front of the church that I was in at the time I was speaking at then I got to talk to her afterwards and she was talking about how her husband was a bit of a mechanic. Do it yourself mechanic you like working on his car and his car was parked on the driving in Canada. I'm not remembering the name of the time I was going to try and remember that, he was working underneath the car and it was it was lifted off the ground and the wheels off the car and he was trying to get his bolt. I'm done and he was pulling in pulling and pulling and it wouldn't come inside. He pulled it really hard and he pulled it so hard that the Wubble. The times and landed on his chest under this car and knocked up into the ground that he was screaming and shouting out. His wife came running out, and she tried to do something and he said, just to see if you can get some of the weight off my chest. So I could breathe. Maybe I could wriggle out anyway. She tried to lift the call you a little hug and she tried to lift his car. Nothing happens until she cried out to God said, Jesus. Help me. She said, I don't really know what happened but it's the car lifted. I don't know whether it was me or whether somebody else would help with the car. Lifted, my husband wrote out and then the call dropped to the ground.
I just pulled on the name of the Lord.
She said, I felt such a piece even though there was craziness going on even though my husband was screaming out of the car, do you know what on East Chase when he went to hospital, and all that was his bruise on his chest and it looked like a thumbprint. How about works? But unable us and do amazing things in us and through us because he's, holy spirit is for us, and we could be filled with the Holy Spirit to empower us to encourage us. in Acts chapter 1, the beginning of the book of Acts, We first read for my, I'll bring a bunch of the beginning of Acts chapter 1, the Fulmer accounts, I made a theosophist of all that Jesus began to teach until the time when she was taking up after he threw the Holy Spirit, I give him two moments to the apostles, whom he has chosen. Let me encourage you and be still and know that I am God.

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. I just want to encourage you to read that scripture. What do you want to read it in jail? Or what do you want to read it? Or not completely up to you but let me encourage you Sons and Daughters Santa Rosa. So, guess who love us? That's pretty conclusive. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. On. Speaking on behalf of God, let me encourage you. That's empowered by the spirit. We can say something which is Way Beyond on natural understanding. What can come from a supernatural source and can speak into situations?
I remember to take a gun into the eastern part of Germany, many years ago. Now gone to a conference in there. Anybody else would like to come to me, come with me at night. It was all you sleep at the time and I D whole decided they would like to come and we flew through the weekend. I said, okay? Let me just explain to him Friday and Saturday and then church on Sunday, I'll be speaking. Other people will be speaking on every time for me
Set reminder using relatively young Christian of the times when it comes to Ministry. And I talked to him, he translated the English into German and then from Germany to Russian. So it was pretty complicated process. But I do pray for this this young man and I he was testifying to firstly, he had the the likes of being turned on in the room for it was like the lights were turned on in the room and he said I I have some severe liver condition is being treated with Hospital in severe pain and back pain has gone completely. You imagine what that did for the room? As people were thinking. Yes God moves, let's pray some more am. I might see what he did for the ministry to. You has to move today, you can do it again and so they prayed more cries over the rest of the weekend. But imagine what he did for ND, Nice young man who had already stepped on him. Any of these things very often. I need a Sprite. So. Are you sure come to, Paul's, my spirit shall move on All Flesh men, young men, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy? Your young men and young women shall see Visions your old man and women shall dream dreams. I don't know why. They don't know why the older people have to dream of the younger people like to see Visions. I'll be honest with you, it was visually

God wants to move in our walls. Go Bust A Move. By his Spirit through you and me. Acts chapter 2 verses 1 to 13. And when the day of Pentecost to come, that's when this Holy Spirit fell upon the disciples in the early church. When did I Pentecostal fully come? I will hold together in one place with one Accord and suddenly became of sound from Heaven as of a rushing, Mighty Wind and it feels the whole house. Anybody running. Has anybody ever run out of vocabulary? When you try to say something, you trying to explain something to somebody, and anybody that would gold. When you're praying, you're such a
I believe that's part of what the gift of tongues is about. Is when we run out of our own vocabulary, has a fresh and new vocabulary, a language that allows us to talk to God. And why is it a Way Beyond? Just all natural language and enables us to speak with power and authority enables us to speak. With passion and we purpose. And so let me encourage each one of us. We're going to pry, I'm going to whites on the little bit. Going to ask God's holy spirit to fold in this place today whether it's a home with you. Whether it's later with you or go to song, I'm just going to play. I'm not going to ask us to sing it. I'm just going to let it fly. Plus we whites on God, I'm going to encourage each one of us to reach out to God. If you've been filled with the Holy Spirit, ask go to refill. You anybody in the room or anybody online dry, anybody feel dry, anybody feel squeezed.
Anybody feel with the lack of energy.
Anybody feel as a lack of tenacity, you know that.
Don't confuse us with one of those Dimensions that we need to strengthen us. It can refresh us a camera, newest, you can restore us. He can give us some Supernatural Force. Well pumps in the Bible, but forgive me.
And I want to encourage us from The Book of Luke as to how we might do this. In the Book of Luke, we read the story and, you know, it very well, Luke chapter 11 verses 9 through 13. And so I say to you ask, and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock. And it will be opened to you for everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds into him who knocks it will be opened. If his son asks, for bread from any father amongst you will he give him a stone over the Oscar fish? Give himself and instead of a fish or if he asked for an act, he will be offering his school. If you think I'm being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?
Ask and it will be given seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you. I'm not sure we're going to do today. So, I'm going to ask you to pause. Ask you to switch away from any distractions, you maybe sit down. I know, one of the, the real opportunities challenges, let me put it like, twice of doing Church online. Is people do other things while they're doing Church?
I mean, she just pulls, just pulls from him, put down, whatever you do, switch off, whatever whatever else is on. Let's just be still before God. This Oscar I do like to encourage you to think about where I went well when life is going.

In your physical situation. It might be something that you know you need to do and even go to speak to you as we wait on him in a few moments.

So it's not just now asking, but continuing to ask so when we read about asking you ask, now, I'm asking and continuing to ask seek and now seeking and continuing to seek and knock and continue to knock out now, knocking and continuing to know,
Cuz we need refreshment, we need God's spirit to work in our lives.
