Risk is necessary (Ecc 11:1)
We cannot grow without risk
God has given us gifts to invest/risk
Why we don’t risk (Ecc 11:4)
Fear of failure/disappointment
Need for certainty
How to risk wisely (Ecc 11:2-6)
Diversify (Ecc 11:2)
Look at what you know (Ecc 11:3)
Risk with Faith in god (Ecc 11:5)
Work hard when you risk (go all in) (Ecc 11:6)
Ill: it’s like learning to ride a bike, you can hesitate, you’ve got to peddle hard when it’s time — the fast your go the more stable you are — that’ show it is with risking — once you do it — don’t hesitate
be as immovable as that tree that fell.
Where is God calling you to risk?
Vocationally
Relationally
Financially
Spiritually
Ministerially
Risk boldly, but wisely since God is in control

How is God calling you to risk right now?
We are going to have to take some risks as a a church if we want to grow.
You are going to have to take some risks in your life if you want to grow
There are no garauntees, there are no certainties
nobody can know how things will turn out. —Ecc message
In light of that you are going to have to take risks in your life
God is calling you to take risks.
Financially — yes
vocationally — yes
relationally — yes
emotionally — definitely
spiritually — yes — trusting God is the greatest risk of all right?
for who knows what comes after a man.
But risking with God is a guarantee b/c the loss has already been covered — it’s already been paid
believing and walking with jesus is the only sure bet there is
Faith in God — yet it feels like a risk.
why? b/c we are not in control
why we don’t risk?
Fear — we want guarantees.
