When God does cross our minds, do we want something? Have we forgotten something? Are we remembering something we prayed for and never received? Did we remember something we forgot to pray for that we promised someone we would pray for? OUCH (Thank God for unanswered prayers? Garth Brooks)

Do we focus daily on GLORIFYING GOD? Glorifying God means seeking to maximize each occasion, each daily activity with a deliberate step of obedience and thanksgiving. Or as I say it, “Everything, everyday, in every way, are we aware that God is in this?

Verse 2-5, the psalmist calls all people to praise God with instruments and dancing, happiness and joy and verse 6 states, again, Praise the Lord. Pretty obvious don’t you think, we are to always be in praise and thanksgiving..

Psalm 145:1–7 “1 I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. 2 Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. 3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. 5 On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. 6 They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. 7 They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.”
