Just Obey

It’s Simple

We has humans so often fail, come short, make life damaging choices because we fail to do the simple thing obey the instructions given to us.

The bicycle will not come together because we will not follow the instructions.

We put the bbq grill together but now we have two pieces that should be on and connected to the grill.

We can’t log on because we skipped #3 and #4 and went straight to #5.

We get speeding tickets because the 55 mph sign was too slow for us.

God says don’t and we say why not.

Then He says do and we say not now.

It’s simple; just obey the given instructions if you want the given results.

Every set of instructions no matter from what source; is for the better of the reader of them. It is to ensure that the completion of the product, plan or occasion is to the desired expectations of the manufacturer or organizer of the product.

Why are all of these do’s and don’ts in the Bible

However the flaw so many times comes from our human desire to deviate from the said instructions or guidelines and create our own method of assembly. Which many times ends in a failed completion and even a disastrous outcome.

Obedience Dose Not Have toHurt

Pro 10:22  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. 

But rather it brings joy and gladness: Isa 1:19  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 

Milk does a body good: well obedience does a soul good.

Obedience sometimes requires no action:

Just stand still; Exo 14:13  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 

Many times God will work the situation out for you if you just put your hands in your pockets.

Obey even if you think it’s going to hurt:

Jer 42:5  Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us. 

Jer 42:6  Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God. 

Gods Reply to the people:

Jer 42:10  If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. 

Jer 42:11  Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 

Jer 42:12  And I will shew mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land. 

Some Obey Orders:

Peter said to the Jews we ought to obey God rather than man.

Galatians 5:7 says we should obey the truth

Colossians 3:20 says children should obey their parents in all things

Colossians 3: 22 says you should obey your supervisor on the job

Titus 3:1 says you should obey authorities and laws

Hebrews 13:7 says obey those who have rule over you in the Gospel

1 Peter 3:1 wives should obey their husbands

Last but the least 1 Peter 4: 17 says we should obey the Gospel in order to escape the judgment of God.

Just Obey:

Just don’t touch it: God’s commandments are simple and not complicated

2. The knowledge of good and evil: When you disobey you learn too much wrong.

The Tower of Bable; God said move out and spread across the earth they wanted to be clannish and build up so they could stay together.

God wants to expand you but you afraid to step out.

You are confused now because you wouldn’t obey:

3, The Pass Over required obedience:

a. a first year unblemished lamb

b. take the blood and cover the door posts (sides and top)

If I Obey I Can Ask For Things:

Jesus said if my word abide in you and you abide in my word you can ask and I will grant it to you.........

The Apostles Obeyed and Received Power:

wait in Jerusalem until you receive Power, after that the Holy Ghost will come upon you.

Jesus Obeyed All The Way To The Cross................
