Isaiah 62:4–5 NASB95
4 It will no longer be said to you, “Forsaken,” Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “Desolate”; But you will be called, “My delight is in her,” And your land, “Married”; For the Lord delights in you, And to Him your land will be married. 5 For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.

The Lord delights in you

The meaning of “delight” is described in verse 5.
As a young man is so glad and happy about marrying the love of his life.
The excitement and joy on the day of the wedding.
The Lord is delighted with you as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride.

But because of you but because of the blood

The Lord doesn’t delight over us because we are awesome and delightable.
The Lord delights over us because the blood of the Lamb has made us enjoyable.
When we are in the Lord and leaning on the blood of the Lamb, you can be confident and sure that the Lord’s delight is over you.
But when you are not leaning on the blood and trying to achieve by your own strength, you will fail.
This is why it is called free gift of grace.
For there is nothing you can do to earn it
Nothing you can do to deserve it
It is simply given to those who are willing to open their hands and receive

Don’t struggle

There’s absolutely no benefit in struggling with trying for yourself.
Believe in the blood
Lean on the blood
Plead for the blood
And live in confidence that the Lord calls you Hephzibah.
