1. Chapter 21 – The Messiah shared some things His Disciples needed to know
• Why do you think Jesus called attention to the Widow’s giving? (21:1-4).
• Do you think Jesus’ words about the temple shocked His Disciples? (21:5-9).
• What did Jesus mean by “the times of the Gentiles?” (21:10-24).
• Do you think the world is or will be prepared for the return of Christ? (21:25-38).
2. Chapter 22 – The Messiah prepares for The Last Passover
• What do you think is meant by “And Satan Entered into Judas…?(22:1-6).
• What was the meaning of the Passover? What is the meaning of the Lord’s Supper” (22:7-23)
• What message about “greatness” was Jesus trying to teach the Disciples? (22:24-38).
• What was the “cup” Jesus was asking the Father to remove from Him if it was His will? (22:39-46).
• How did Judas betray Jesus? Why do you think Judas betrayed Jesus? (22:47-53).

3. Chapter 23 – The Messiah is to be Crucified
• Why do you think Pilate did not want Jesus crucified? (23:1-5).
• Who was Herod and what interest did he have in Jesus? (23:6-12).
• Who was Barabbas and why was he offered in exchange for Jesus’ life? (23:13-25).
• Who was Simon of Cyrene and what part did he play in Jesus’ crucifixion? (23:26-32).
• When you read the story of the Crucifixion what mental images does it generate in your heart and mind? (23:33-49).
• Who was Joseph of Arimathea, and who else helped Joseph, according to other Gospels, bury Jesus? (23:50-56).
4. Chapter 24 - The Messiah is raised from the Dead
• As you think about all the people Jesus appeared to when He was resurrected what do you think their initial reaction was? How did it change their faith? (24:1-35).
• Even after His resurrection some feared and doubted what did Jesus do to calm their fears and doubts? What task did He give them to tell of His resurrection? (24:36-52).
