Unity in Church

The most precious thing thing about Westside Baptist Church is? The most important thing about Westside Baptist Church is? Some say, well its our people. Well, its our Sunday School, youth, missions, women ministry, on and on. None of those things. Some real spiritual person say, sure its Jesus our Lord. We are the body of Christ. Want to see Jesus Christ? If two or three are gathered. There He is in our heart. Most precious tresure about the church is the unity of the Spirit that the world may know that Christ. John 17:22 “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

John 17:23 “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.  We talk about witness. Here is first how the world sees Christ. As his body is one. Eph 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

Eph 4:2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

Eph 4:3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.   Oneness and the unity.
