I. The patriarchs and their prayers
Genesis 18:22, 23, 27
22 So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained still (ʿō·mēḏʹ) standing before the Lord. 23 Then Abraham (yig·gǎšʹ) approached him and (yō(ʾ)·mǎrʹ) said: [...] 27 Then Abraham (yǎʹ·ʿǎn) spoke up again [...].
Gen. 20:7
