Ecclesiastes 3:3-8 - 3 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

Seasons Come and Seasons Go

much like the seasons of the year that will come and go, without your control, the seasons of our lives will come and go. You can’t pass through life thinking that in the middle of July winter will never come, and you can’t think that in the middle of January that summer will never come. Isn’t it interesting that before you and me were created, there were seasons in place already. Each having a place and part of why it happens when it does. If God could create a perfectly stable world with seasons to make sure there is seasons of growing and harvesting, birth and death, hot and cold, to make sure there is a balance, why would he create us any less?
Often we can look through our closets and find out of season clothes and in season clothes. No one would throw away everything when that season was done, why? because we know it will come back again. We throw some things away though, things that no longer work cause of tears or wholes, to big or to small now, or sometimes its just not your style.
In our walk of Faith the same things happen, we pass and go through seasons. Ask any seasoned veteran of faith, most of us never throw away the situations, mental aspects, garments of praise and worship. Why? Because if that season comes back around, we will be prepared. But just like a new person getting used to a new climate, sometimes we get surprise elements for those who have been in that climate for a long time.
we get those verses told to like 1 Peter 3:15 - to be ready always to make a defense for the reason of the hope you have. BE READY EVEN WHEN NO ONE IS ASKING!
2 Peter 3:10 - that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. Again we are told to be ready now for something that isn’t quite here
When we enter into any season we prepare the best we can, but we never forget the seasons we have already passed through. with Life no summer is ever the same, no winter is ever the same. We get older and knew things come into our lives every year even though maybe temperatures may be the same, things that happen may look the same, but your not the same. Our Christian walk is to be seen in the same way, seasons may look familiar, but you are not the same you were the last time you went through it.

Your Surroundings

Our preparations determine soooo much! the people you surround your self with, the things your listening to and even watching. These factors all play a role into you in the season. I am gonna go into one of what I feel is the most important areas, the words you speak. If your asking how does surroundings determine or effect the words that I speak? If you place yourself around people all the time that aren’t happy, aren’t positive, always see the glass half empty type, it rubs off on you. Then you start watching movies and listening to music that matches that persona of not positivity or negative things in general. Then you start picking up hobbies that we know aren’t good. We start to take on the persona of those areas of our life.
FOCUS ON SPEAKING, THE DEVIL DOES NOT TELL YOU TRUTH BECAUSE HE CAN’T ACCEPT IT, HE ONLY TELLS YOU OF YOUR PAST BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY THING THAT CAN TURN YOU BACK
when we start speakings and thinking like the things around us, it can be detrimental to everything God has planned for us.
Now on the other hand if you try your best to surround yourself with positive people, with good outlooks, ambitions, and goals in their life. You start to take on the atmosphere with which you are present, and we can almost find ourselves speaking with the same positivity, goals, purpose, and ambitions.
Proverbs 13:20 - says whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
1 Cor 15:33 - says Do not be deceived; Bad company ruins good morals
This isn’t to say ditch all your friends and seek out new ones, but its about placing the atmosphere around you where you go. If there are those people that can taint the spirit in which God has given us, we must come into an area of life to prune away what doesn’t edify us.

Never stop preparing

A faith killer in and out of seasons is not being prepared to face the season at hand. Preparation was something that was practiced in all of the world for upcoming seasons, because if you weren’t prepared for the heat you will dehydrate and burn, if your not prepared for the cold you will freeze and get frostbite.
In Luke 14:28 - For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
when we plan for the small and simple, put ourselves in the best atmosphere possible, we can never account for the tricks of the devil, but we can be the most prepared possible. Our testimony shows that we have passed through seasons, we have conquered them already. If that season were to come back again, remember what has worked, remember what didn’t. But most importantly never take it for granted that the season will never come back again. Because when you stop preparing, that's when the devil can make his move and bring in what it is your least prepared for.

Conclusion

Seasons will come and seasons will go, nothing we will go through will we be the first of. But being ready in and out of season is soooo important. Lets surround ourselves in the best environment possible, speaking, hearing, and acting int he best possible cause possible. Lastly never stop preparing! Plan for the small and the large, never overlook anything.
PRAY
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
