WEEKLY OUTLINE
1. The Triunity of God (This Week)
2. The Names and A ributes of God (Next Week)
3. Paterology (The study of the Father)
Recall the purpose of Theology - to lead us into adora on (See Rom 11:33-36).
PERSONALITY
God’s Personality explains His existence, not as merely a force or as a composite of all crea on,
but as a personal Being. God is alive (Jeremiah 10:10), self- conscious (Exodus 3:14; cf. McCune’s
discussion), and spiritual (John 4:24). He acts (Crea on—Genesis 1-2, Redemp on—Ephesians
1:3-14, etc.) according to “the counsel of His Own will” (Ephesians 1:11). Contrast Pantheism,
Panentheism, etc.
