II. The Acts of Progressive Faith vs. 23-25
A. Jesus takes him by the hand. Jesus is leading him to Himself, but not the way most would think about it. Usually when Jesus healed it was by a mere touch. This time it was different. Just because what’s going on in the present doesn’t mean God ain’t working.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
B. Jesus spit and made mud, for the man’s eyes. It sounds nasty, but it’s the unwanted things that brings us closer to God.
C. The blind man couldn’t see, but partially . Just like when an unbeliever has something to happen and they inch a little closer to God.
D. The man looked intently, shows that the man finally “got” it. Some are saved, healed, or prayer answered progressively, and finally after the long journey there isa moment when everything changes.
