Men & Women Working for God

God has made us for himself. As his creation, we should submit to him. We will find the greatest joy when we yield to our God.

Our struggle with authority presents itself in our desire to neglect our responsibilities or to go beyond our boundaries.

This struggle is seen in our worship.

Increasingly, it is common for men to abdicate their responsibilities and for women to fill the roles which they were not given.

We must return to our roles given by God.

“I want the men in every place to pray”

1 Timothy 2:8 ESV

I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;

And also the women

1 Timothy 2:12 ESV

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.
