Pray Like This & Why
Pray Like This & Why
7 “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.
8 Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!
Jesus tells his disciples as he teaches them the way to pray a very important father/God Principle:
8 Don’t be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Your father Knows what You need before you ask him...
(Need)1 require (something) because it is essential or very important: 1 circumstances in which something is necessary, or that require some course of action; necessity: 3 the state of requiring help, or of lacking basic necessities such as food:
(Want) 1 have a desire to possess or do (something); wish for: desire (someone) sexually:
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Once We realize Who our father is, and that he already Knows what we need..
When will understand what our daily bread look’s like: Ever Slice...
We will understand the difference between a want & need.
We will be thankful to have a Good shepherd and no longer have wants and will bless him for meeting every need.
We will put more trust in the supplier and less trust in need.
