What is the difference between Evangelism and Service?

Evangelism: The spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness.

Evangelismo: La difusión de las buenas nuevas de Jesús mediante la predicación pública o el testimonio personal.

Service: The action of helping or doing work for someone.

Servicio: La acción de ayudar o trabajar para alguien.

Let’s look at Personal evangelism

Romans 10:11–15 NKJV

For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Personal Outreach must flow from Prayer and Discipleship

Personal Outreach comes from love for people

Personal Outreach is a Lifestyle

Application:

How is your life with God? Have you experienced His presence in your life? Have you responded to Him in Worship? If not, do that today.

Do you see the hurting of others around you? Do you see their need for Jesus or do you look past them?

Is there someone you are praying for that needs to experience the goodness of God in their life?
