THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE

What is the will of God for your life? or what is Gods purpose for my life on earth? David said--Ps. 40:8 “I delight to do Your will, my God; Your instruction lives within me.””

WILL OF GOD God’s plan and purpose for His creation and for each individual. God desires that all people do His will. Only people fully mature in Christ are able to do God’s will consistently. God’s will is always good, acceptable, and perfect. Doing God’s will sustained Jesus for life. Sometimes, however, the will of God leads to suffering, as it did for Jesus.

Christians are to strive to know the will of God for their lives. Christians are to discern God’s will through prayer and also pray that God’s will for the world be done. Jesus counted those who did God’s will as His own family members. They, like Jesus, will live forever.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.

Romans 12:1–2 HCSB

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
