Power of attorney - permission to use their power and authority to carry out their wishes.
The power and authority of the representative is equal to its owner when the person is operating within the will of the owner.
John 14:12–14 NKJV
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
He who believes in Me will do the works Jesus did.
He will do even Greater works.
Why?
Because Jesus went to the Father.
The Holy Spirit descended when He ascended
Whatever we ask in His name, He will do it.
Ask is demand. Who are we demanding from.
The enemy. He’s trying to force sickness on us. We don’t have to accept it.
Faith and Confidence In His Delegated Authority
Luke 10:17 NKJV
Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
Matthew 8:29 NKJV
And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
Every Knee Will Bow
Philippians 2:9–11 NKJV
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Power In The Name
Acts 3:2–8 NKJV
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.
