Notes
Transcript
Mark 9:43-48
Intro: There are a lot of people in this society that think that Hell would be the place to go and have a party with Satan. That he would reward your rejection of God with some sort of never ending debauchery. This is just a lie that is meant to mislead the week of mind and to entangle the souls of the lost. However, no one wants to see any one die in their sins and spend eternity in Hell. Yet this is what the Bible teaches will happen to all those who die unsaved. This is the fate of those who reject the light of the world and chose to remain in darkness. Many ask, if God loves us so much, why did he make Hell? Why did he make such a place for us?

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

VI. The Price That Was Paid To Keep Us Out…

a. Rom 6:23 - The price for sin is death… someone had to die for our sin because God wants us to have eternal life…
Romans 6:23 KJV 1900
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
b. 2 Corinthians 5:21 - Christ became our sin… God does not want to judge you and find you unrighteous…
2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV 1900
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
c.1 Cor 15:3-4; Romans 5:8 - Christ died in our place - God does not want to condemn you to hell...
1 Corinthians 15:3–4 KJV 1900
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 5:8 KJV 1900
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
d. John 3:16-19
John 3:16–19 KJV 1900
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

VII. The Plan That is So Simple…

Romans 10:9-10
Romans 10:9–10 KJV 1900
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
